We DON'T know who the Dinobot is!

And even if it is Grimlock, it would be the first time we had a green one:

Not to mention that Cartoon Network hasn't been kind to action cartoons in general in the last few years.

Sabrblade wrote:This show looks way more exciting than Prime ever was, and almost as fun as Rescue Bots is.

Is there any word on if/when Rescue Bots is actually coming back?

Yea, they killed the DC action block (Young Justice when they obviously had more story to tell, Green Lantern) in favor of the new Teen Titans which was more comedy. For serious action I think all we have are the video games and IDW comics. :CON:

SPOILERS for IDW Comics

Can we mention Terrocons (Abonimus). They were animal alt modes and weren't considered predacons. Bumblebee was leader in IDW for a while until...... He died. I am convinced that the Grimlock(s) we know and love is/are too awesome to place in a TV series. Pray for a decent Lockdown.

My reference to him being Grimlock is only due to that was what they called him while showing this figure during the Bluray special stuff. I think it was posted here in the news before, but it is on the bluray. It was during the making of Stomp and Chomp Grimlock part of the special features. So I will call him Grimlock for now, whether he is or is not, we will see. He is cool looking in toy form either way.
I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

If this is a sequel to TFP then why is bee acting like hes never had an earth mode before? It just might be out of context but i find it odd. Anyway this looks terrible, bad animation bad acting, dumb concept. Theres going to be no story just the bots hunting down a new con every week and bee crying hes not prime. I will wait til the show is actually on to pass final judgement but from what ive seen so far its an easy pass. Only thing im curious about is that wolf looking guy and the possible beastformers.

Hey Shuttershock, I was kind of thinking the wolf bot's head design looked like the animated version of Beast from X-Men. If the V shaped window on his chest was just continued on into an X he'd be good to go being he is blue already. All he would need is a little more color variety. An X-man cross over would be pretty cool I think. And Now.... let's see if any turn up on ebay since I gave away my idea! :BANG_HEAD: Just joking!

Don't know where you got that from, since he seems to be the only one familiar with Earth and the concept of Earthen altmodes in this trailer.

Wolf, BB is familiar with earth in the video, that's why Prime is calling him to go back. It is the new crew that doesn't understand. As far as him crying he isn't Prime, try to teach a bunch of recruits how to do their job and see if you don't get a little agitated. BB goes from #1 scout, to teacher. A job I'd question if he is ready for so he is learning as he goes I'd say. Like a bunch of new Army recruits! They need the tag on a pineapple grenade that says "Do Not Eat"! (Yes when I was in service they really did have that!)

Must say I'm rather warming up to this series, especially after having seen the 'bots in action. Obviously I have my share of nitpicks but I daresay I can deal

I think that the whole idea of decepticons being "at large" will work pretty decently for this show, though there's a risk of it falling very much into a monster-of-the-week format. Eh well, at least we'll get to see a whole bunch of different cons, perhaps the odd obscure character reference will be thrown in there to please the odd obscure fans ;)

It occurs to me that if Cartoon Network doesn't kill this show, Hasbro will pull the plug as soon as it's time for the next Bayformers movie. Because Primus forbid the cartoons be treated as anything more than filler.

I read that as Bee explaining the need for disguise to Sideswipe & Strongarm; he wasn't confused about it himself.

Megatron Wolf wrote:Anyway this looks terrible, bad animation bad acting, dumb concept. Theres going to be no story just the bots hunting down a new con every week and bee crying hes not prime.
OK, so bad animation & dumb concept is your opinion. I think inferring "bad acting" from a super short trailer is a stretch that needs to be backed up on your part. Especially since Will Friedle is voicing Bee, and he did a great job in Batman Beyond.

I'm sure we'll get a "monster of the week" type theme until they've built up the universe enough to infuse it with a more overarching plot, but that was true of Animated and Prime as well. And both of those turned out to be awesome shows with large followings.

Megatron Wolf wrote:I will wait til the show is actually on to pass final judgement but from what ive seen so far its an easy pass. Only thing im curious about is that wolf looking guy and the possible beastformers.
I think it's funny how people like to say "I will wait to pass judgement" after they've already passed judgement.

Why they have to use "Robot in disguise" tilte, it was taken already... twice!

Why evertyhing seems to be so slow? Plus colors and character designs are terrible.
