I have both and like them, a lot. But for some reason Ratchet wears the mold way better, IMO.

I dunno Joe, maybe it's rose colored glasses. I've been through it with Apollyon lately.

BUT!! I'm finding I'm more of a fan of realistic alt mode/as close a possible to the cartoon bot mode. I feel like MP36 is going too far one way for the sake of the other. Plus, I want Megatron to be shiny silver

Currently, MP Ironhide has his standard face and Ratchet has his happy face. To me, they are just like the seekers. Same model, completely different personalities.

I an abs absolutely understand that. MP36 is VERY cartoony. I personally like that (hence why I bought Mightron from DX9), but I totally get why that's a turn-off.
That's a good point about Ironhide and Ratchet and their different personalities. Their faces are able to express their differences. I guess it just never crossed my mind because the Seekers are all pretty much the same aside from starscream. At least in the cartoon which is all I've seen.

It's kind of weird, and I never knew I cared, but the G1 toys had realistic alt modes that turned into robots that fit those modes. The cartoon just went whatever way it could to make things work. So now I'm looking at what I have, and that's what I want: the best of both worlds. I don't think MP36 does that. Am I buying it? Yes. I feel like I would've been more excited though. Between the 3 Third Party options it definitely isn't the best FOR ME.

I still think the Jazz problem may be related to licensing Martini-Rossi.
The whole booze thing might look like the Marlboro/Exhaust calamity.
Same for Mirage and his tobacco branding.

really he shorter because prime is crouching and he is still taller than his leg. did you see the comparison with quakewave that is nowhere even near the correct scale.

Bigger doesn't necessarily equal to taller. He's got larger proportions overall! He's at LEAST 2 feet tall. Based on the MP figures I have IN HAND comparing it to Titans I have IN HAND.

He's 55cm to the top of his head and 60cm to the top of his wings. SO, I was wrong about the at least 2 feet tall to the top of his head. I still stand behind the larger proportions though. He looks bulkier. And more posable. And probably heavier. Metroplex and Fort Max could never hold an MP in their hands, even with a articulated upgrade.

They can hold mp bee and the other cars, maybe even Ironhide

All this arguing and no ones willing to do the math

Max is 59cm. So this OS is likely slightly taller.
But come on guys, you can almost guarantee that this guy is heavier and wider. It's a 3P piece. Y'know he's going to be big and solid enough to kill a puma.
