Cobotron wrote:But Joe, weren't you just talking about getting all 3 Seekers?joeprime276 wrote:itscramtastic wrote:Ironhidensh, is it me or are things not what they seem..?
The more I look at my Apollyon compared to MP36..the more I like Apollyon.
What makes you say that? I actually quite like the looks of MP-36.
Also, for those who have MP Ironhide and Ratchet, can you get both for your collection and have them look distinct from each other? I have Ironhide but am wary of getting Ratchet due to him being the exact same mold.![]()
I have both and like them, a lot. But for some reason Ratchet wears the mold way better, IMO.
Glad I could help!joeprime276 wrote:Cobotron wrote:But Joe, weren't you just talking about getting all 3 Seekers?joeprime276 wrote:itscramtastic wrote:Ironhidensh, is it me or are things not what they seem..?

I guess I'll just have to grab Ratchet then. Twist my arm

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I dunno Joe, maybe it's rose colored glasses. I've been through it with Apollyon lately.joeprime276 wrote:What makes you say that? I actually quite like the looks of MP-36.Scramjet wrote:Ironhidensh, is it me or are things not what they seem..?

I thought we've been over this, Takara has the rights to VW Group stuff, why not Porsche?Ironhidensh wrote:They can't get the license rights for it.

Others in the VW Group are VW, Lamborghini, Bugatti.. Why you hold out Porsche?!
That MakeToys Downbeat is looking niiiiiice. And since you're having success with MakeToys, I may have to pull the trigger!
Anyone excited for FansToys Skyfire and Omega Supreme?
It's kind of weird, and I never knew I cared, but the G1 toys had realistic alt modes that turned into robots that fit those modes. The cartoon just went whatever way it could to make things work. So now I'm looking at what I have, and that's what I want: the best of both worlds. I don't think MP36 does that. Am I buying it? Yes. I feel like I would've been more excited though. Between the 3 Third Party options it definitely isn't the best FOR ME.joeprime276 wrote:I an abs absolutely understand that. MP36 is VERY cartoony. I personally like that (hence why I bought Mightron from DX9), but I totally get why that's a turn-off.
That's a good point about Ironhide and Ratchet and their different personalities. Their faces are able to express their differences. I guess it just never crossed my mind because the Seekers are all pretty much the same aside from starscream. At least in the cartoon which is all I've seen.

Anyone excited for FansToys Skyfire and Omega Supreme?. I love me some Jazz.
And did someone say Omega Supreme?
I think you're right Cobotron. I also thought the MP+ line could alleviate that.Cobotron wrote:I still think the Jazz problem may be related to licensing Martini-Rossi.
The whole booze thing might look like the Marlboro/Exhaust calamity.
Same for Mirage and his tobacco branding.![]()
We discussed this at length a long time ago. M'members?itscramtastic wrote:I think you're right Cobotron.

If I were in the market for an MP Omega (and had infinite funds obviously) I'd have no issues with him in my collection.
I swear I've heard you say something could kill a puma before. Is there a puma problem in your neck of the woods?shajaki wrote:going to be big and solid enough to kill a puma.
