Well, you can tell I haven't been to this forum for while because I missed this one.

However, I am often asked about my nameso I figured I'd chime in.

Back when I first joined this site I had no clue what name to use. I had briefly been on the Don Murphy messageboard as Bumper but wanted something new.

I wanted something very unique to me.

At the time I owned a deli so hence I became Deliocn.

Since then the recession forced me to close the deli and go manage a bagel shop but I liked the name so I kept it.

Besides, "Bagelbot" just doesn't sound so cool.

My username includes the name of one of my own TF-Characters and the fraction he sided on.

I'm a girl, but my TF is a boy XD He was the first one I made myself

Anyways

Mine's not very exciting or original.
When I first joined the boards I went by the name Sauron (*yawn) and I didn't even pick it for the LotR character, but for the Marvel Comics pterodactyl guy. I had been lurking and using the VSD here and wanted to sign up and try HMW, but I didn't know how it worked, I thought that I'd only have one character that shared my username, so since I wanted a Dino... it fit.

Well anyways, then the game had one of its many (at this point) accidental resets, I flew into the boards, made an ass of myself complaining that I had lost 'thousands of XP and Energon' and demanded it all back. :roll:

Well needless to say the oldtimers smacked me down (and rightly so), that lead to some flaming... eventually I realized I was being a douche and shut up.
After laying low for a while I quietly changed my name to Bun-Bun after the bad-tempered switchblade wielding rabbit character from the web comic Sluggy Freelance because i thought it was simultaneously fitting and ironic. Ironic because in RL I was as laid back an individual you'd find this side of a joint, fitting because I realized I became a loud mouthed asshole on the web (something I later discovered was not uncommon)
For the longest time people assumed I was a girl (along with Tammuz)
Actually, I think some still do ;;)

Anyways, I did change it for a while going by the handle Disillusioned while I was in my EMO phase, but I switched back to Bun-Bun because that's how everyone knew me and most members of the RDD refused to use the new name (a tradition I now carry on with other members who change their names)

well, in my case my name is based on how "unstable" I've been in the past few years. one minute I'm calm then the next, I'm ridiculously angry. it's gotten to the point where it's hard for me to have a perfect day. i first used the name on my xbox, before i had live, because of the reason above (I got really mad, really fast at whatever the hell i happened to be playing).

I began back in 1995 using the name Path Parallax everywhere.

Then in 1998, for no reason, changed to Z3ROhour. I used the 3 because i like being screwy and E was already taken due to the popularity of the story at the time.

Obviously, I am a fan of DC Comics in general and Green Lantern in perticular. (:|

Secondly, I have a fixation with the re-creation of the universe to something that fits inside my spark.

Third, there is th whole "last minute" or the coountdown on the doomsday clock reference. I am always late and am hyper paranoid about the apocalypse or such.

Anywhooo...

I use Z3ROhour or X3rohour everywhere since.

oh! and i like the X3 cause 13 is my lucky number.

I've been a shaman since 1984ish and then discovered the JLA introduced a character named "Maitou Raven".

He was so cool. Manitouis a little used, native American term for a shaman or priest.

The year of my name conception was 1987. I'd been reading Transformers comics since issue #18 came out, and was completely taken in. I was also, sadly, a child with parents going through a divorce, so it was an escape from the tension in my life. I had become a little angry, and I'd "storm off" to my room when I didn't get my way.(Huh, I think I still do that....) Anyway, when I sat down to write my letter to the Transformers, I gave myself 2 goals. First, write the coolest fan letter ever, and two, sign the letter using the only name that could accurately describe me at the time: "Stormer". I devised this would get my letter printed in "Transmissions", and to my amazement, the plan worked. So, the name "Stormer" can now and forever be found in issue #37.

My User Name Has A Somewhat Long And Twisty History, But, I'll Try And Keep It Short...Numbering It Makes It More Concise.

1. I Own A Genesis Fighting Game Called "Fighting Masters", My Favorite Character To Play Was The Boxer/Humanoid Horse Named "Equus".

2. I'm A Longtime Gamer, When I Started To Play TSR's Marvel Super Heroes RPG, One Of The First Characters I Created Was A Version Of Equus From The Above Fighting Game, I Progressed With Him Until He Eventually Became Lord Equus.

3. I Started Attending Sci Fi Conventions In The Early 90's, The Badge Name I Originally Used Was DarkAngel, But, After I Met A Real DarkAngel (A Beautiful Black Lady Who Also Used That Name), I Decided To Adopt The Name Of My Favorite SuperHero RPG Character Instead, Lord Equus.

4. A Few Years Ago I Realized That I'm Kind Of A Closet Furry, Identifying Closely With Draft Horses, So I Started Using Lord Equus For Almost All The Online Sites I Go To....If It's Lord Equus, It's Probably Me.

5. When I Started Joining Fan Sites For Transformers, I Reimagined Lord Equus As A Transforming Clydesdale, Because I Thought It Would Fit Better. In Doing So, I Realized That He Was Very Much A Combination Of All The Best Traits Of Medieval Warhorses (Strong, Loyal, Noble, Tough), A Maximized Horse........Hence Equus Maximus, And That Is Who I Have Been Transformers-Wise Ever Since.

BTW, As Beast Wars Era As The Name Sounds, I'm Really More Of A G1'r (Take That As You May...) It Took Me A Long Time To Warm Up To BW, But I'm Good With It Now.

I Have A Quick Question To Wrap This Up With: Why Are There So Few Horse Transformers In The Canon? I Know Of Mach Kick And Battle Unicorn, But, That's About It (I'd Collect Those If They Weren't So Darn Rare To Find), Are There More That I Am Missing?

First of all, I am very much crazy over Transformers.

Secondly, the name Trans+Crazy was something I made up for when I had planned on drawing a webcomic in vein of Fred Gallagher's "Megatokyo," of which I never had the time nor the skills necessary to make comics.

always liked Beowulf, go by Grendel or some variation on most websites (except for W40k forums, where I'm Lockjaw). and now people in real life call me grendel alot anyway (mostl because my first name is so common, there's so many with the same name in the room)
I did have in some fan fics from back in high school, a decepticon character named grendel, with was sort of based on the grendel in Beowulf, and that's about when I started using the name more myself.

Well, the name "Artakha" is actually the name on a powerful and legendary being from the BIONICLE storyline, that i follow. He had a variety of powers, such as teleportation and telepathy. I was actually writing some small stories down about him, that mixed the cannon storyline of BIONICLE, and some of my own ideas. Also, i made a "BBC"(Bionicle Based Creation) that was intended to be him. I really like that character; an ancient being, capable of great powers, and never showing himself to any.

I think you know where the "Prime" part comes from...
