The Toy Haul thread (non Transformers only)

Got a box... Literally. If my initial hasbro pulse con order had come through the price might have stung a little but for £15/$18 on sale it's a nice enough box. Just need a huge grunt to put in it to suffer for all eternity. Maybe hasbro should start promoting selfie series as home voodoo kits next year.

Got some stuff from Target this week.
Masterverse NA Skeletor (Apparently I forgot to order one, whoops!), NA Slush Head, and two wave 1 Revelations He-Mans (already clearanced to $14, but they were part of a spend $100 save $25 deal so they were basically free) to put the spare Vykron armors on.
(Edit)Knew I forgot something, got a couple clearance things from BBTS:
BST AXN Avatar the Last Airbender Katara to go with the Aangs I got on clearance from Walmart recently.
Metal Slug 3 Set of 4 Pull Back Cars, I love these games and these vehicles are neat.

Lady in red, - I mean bawoo in red. Already got a green bawoo but definitely prefer the red. Ticks off another gundam Z/ZZ villains suit for me rather than cannon fodder.
Super deformed neo zeong from gundam unicorn is likely the only neo zeong I will ever have due to prices of the high grade models. Neat how it has the Sinanju with it and my first SD kit in along while.
Another ironblooded for the collection. Have to go by numbers on these things with me not being familiar at all with urdr-hunt. Every builds a bit samey and I really don't like ibo heads which are usually fiddly.
And some motu lady slithers to display in each form. Inner packaging is usual Mattel goodness, didn't care much for the outer sleeve. Bit expensive for a figure and a tail but better to have a figure than never have it made.

I mentioned in another topic that My local Walmart had the Super Powers vehicles on clearance for $15:
Well now they've been marked down to $8 so I picked up one of each. Sadly the Supermobile I picked up had a big hole in the bottom of the box that I didn't notice, but that's fine. Maybe I'll grab the other one if it's still there next time I'm there.

More turtles stuff and some bits and bats to work on completing collections.
Playmobil mini - only supposed to blow the bloody doors orf!
Retro fett and bossk, annoyingly just for the lizard guy
House of x Cyclops, I actually want to try complete the tri sentinel BAF
Footsoldier-besides the almost useless one that came with Casey Jones it's my first one
Arcade packs. The boxes on these are great, not played around (well, posed or attempted to) with them yet.
Also went to a Toyfair and picked up some bits, marvel legends white rabbit to use as batwoman Alice, dcs grim reaper (what inspired mask of the phantasm, and even better not a mcfarlane figure - because no doubt he'd get something wrong despite drawing it much like year two batman figure) and the four stone villains from Tmnt (4).
*retro star wars turned up too. Box not mint because hasbro, but as long as they are as good as the flimsy card stock allows r them to be inside of the box is fine by me

Got three packages Wednesday.
From Amazon I got Dino Fury Ptera Freeze Zord for only $20!
From Amazon Japan I got DX Kyoryujin FULLACT VER
And from Ami Ami:
Movie Compilation "SSSS.GRIDMAN" Akane Shinjo Articulated Plastic Model Kit
K-On! Afterschool Teatime Cup & Saucer

TV Anime "Atelier Ryza" Special Barrel Mug 200ml

I actually have a small collection of different cups and whatnot based on anime and games like a rice bowl from Sengoku Basara and a pint glass for the Marble Bridge Eatery in Final Fantasy XI among other things. The K-On! tea cup is because their band is called Hogaku Tea Time (HTT) or "Afterschool Tea Time" because of their tendency to take regular tea breaks when they should be rehearsing or studying. The logo in the middle is their band logo.
As for the Ryza barrel mug, it's quite a bit smaller than I expected even for 200ml and is really just a small cup, no handle. It's my second wooden cup, the other is for the Atelier series anniversary and is a proper mug. They're both made by the same Japanese manufacturer that specializes in wooden mugs so both are entirely useable and not just for looks. Barrels are a running joke in the Atelier series so it makes sense that they'd make these.
I was supposed to get a BBTS POL today from FedEx, but if you've been watching the news you've probably heard what happened in Maine yesterday. The local FedEx distribution hub is in the Lewiston area and is probably closed like most businesses in that area (and even in the state) are. So maybe Friday or Saturday.

Schtuff
Motu slush head is awesome, weirdly no instructions or package art showing the cool things that can be done with it. Tempted to get a marvel legends figure in a tuxedo for the second head to go on even if it won't be bulky enough.
Motu king randor 200x origins, surprisingly has had effort put into it after the poor repaints of evil lyn and skeletor.
Power rangers duo, I really prefer the tron ish look so an easy choice over the red version and what is almost a free figure with him compared to reds price.
Tmnt hypershell from fast-forward, not the greatest of toys but it beats a future neca or S7 for cost. Really don't mind the tank treads being fake as they would just corrode over time.

Got a box from Target that contains probably my best buy of the year.
First off got the regular four Turtles from Mutant Mayhem for only $21 because they were on sale for $7 each plus and then buy one get one half off. Very glad I waited, shame it's the only figures they have online, I wont make it to the store in time to get any others.
Here's the big one, never heard of this before, but it was also part of the same deal, but there wasn't anything else online that I wanted but you'll see the price was already more than fair:
VTech Switch & Go 3-in-1 Rescue Rex - only $30.49 on Target.com right now, Amazon is doing the exact same deal. This thing is HUUUUUGE! There's an official step by step transformation video (almost certainly for parents) that gives you the best idea of its size compared to an adult. It's not as big as Titan Trypticon, but probably on par with Studio Series Devastator. It's pretty ridiculous that VTech can sell these for so cheap, they probably sell a ton of them. The video is dated for two months ago and they're doing a big holiday push with Switch & Go so it's definitely a new toy.
Legs have a lot of articulation, able to bend at the hips, knees and ankles. You can swing the tail side to side, though I'm pretty sure it's officially supposed to be collapsed. Arms can go up and down and bend at the elbows. Head can look up and down and the jaw opens, but I do have an issue with the blue portion under the jaw not clipping right and constantly falling down. Only kinda annoying thing is it talks a lot, the switch has two positions, but it only goes to off, quiet and loud, I wish it had a position for just lights and no sounds. I don't really care for the screen gimmick, but thankfully with everything off there's spots on the side that sort of work well enough as eyes.
But man, $30 for this much toy is just unheard of. Go get one for a kid or yourself, you wont be disappointed for the price.

Had good luck at the local salvage store! They had modern DC Super Powers figures for just under $6, picked up John Stewart Green Lantern, Flash, and the Batman who Laughs at that price, but they also had Superman for a bit over $4.
They also had those Power Rangers Zords action figures from Hasbro that I love. Was able to get what I think are the last two I need (technically need a black and gold Dino Megazord repaint, which they have). Picked up the Dragonzord Battle Mode and Mega Tigerzord. They were $10 each.

Professor honeycutt and adventures slash.
Two more power rangers cobra Kais even if it seems to be a dead line and doesn't look like it will have more figures :/
*when you want your Daniel yo do one of two things... Have bleeding hand action or be able to assume the position. Okay one of those two things might be unreasonable but man, the crane ninja can't crane
**slash lower left arm. Pin seems a bit misaligned and his arm can't be bent. Doubt I'll get around to hot water or hair drying it to see if I can get it to move. Fugitoid seems a bit tall but still cool, plus it comes with the kirby arm cannon gauntlet for donny

Another piece of my on-going midlife criss arrived today!
Neat figure. More poseable than I thought she would be! I like the freaky robot head, the short sword, and the grappling hook. She came with a replacement head and butt so she doesn't have the robot head or tail anymore, but I probably won't use those. Like I said, I prefer the robot head. Also hungolomghononoloughongous.

Got a bunch of boxes in the last two days so this is going to be a quick rundown:
BBTS:
Masterverse Revolutions Skeletek and Sorceress Teela, New Eternia Man-at-Arms and Trap-Jaw
Playmates TMNT Last Ronin (color version)
Gridman Universe Pop Up Parade L Akane Shinjo
Amazon Japan:
Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger DX King Caucasus Kabuto
Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger DX God Scorpion
That big beetle actually has a base mode for storing all the other bugs. He's really cool, nearly 11" to the top of his head in bot mode and nearly 15" to the top of his horn. I love these things so much, they're the coolest! Only thing I'm really missing is the white tarantula and its partners, after that we'll see if I get any of the black repaints, they're super expensive, probably because it's so rare to get evil bot figures in Super Sentai.

Emerje wrote:Oh, I've been looking for a topic like this. I haven't bought a lot of non-Transformers lately, but I did recently get figma Heiwajima Shizuo from Durarara!!x2 and I have figma Caster EXTRA from Fate/EXTRA coming in the mail. I always tell myself I'm going to quit collecting figma, but then something cool comes out, plus I'm committed to buying all of the Fate figma (I'm only missing three, I even have the bike).
Just for fun, here's my non-Transformers current pre-order list:
November
-figma Yuuki from Sword Art Online (Wonder Festival 2016 Summer online exclusive)
-figma Orihara Izaya from Durarara!!x2
December
-figma Samus Aran from Metroid: Other M
January
-figma Saitama from One Punch Man
February
-S.H. Figuarts Tendo Akane from Ranma 1/2 (Tamashii Nations exclusive)
-figma Leafa from Sword Art Online
-Super Mini-Pla GaoGaiGar (candy toy)
April
-figma Celty Sturluson from Durarara!!x2
-figma Protagonist from Persona 3
May
-figma Link from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-figma Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-figma Midoriya Izuku from My Hero Acadamia
-figma Shielder from Fate/Grand Order
Hope there aren't any good Transformers releases in May...
Cutting back on figma, yeah, sure.

You really dug up an old post!

Anyway, I got the Dungeons and Dragons Drizzt figure from the Hasbro sale along with some Transformers in the other thread.

Both S.H figuarts dragonball androids at a good price
not something I buy often so makes a nice change.
More gundam, think I have what I want from the witch from mercury now but never say no to more.
Zeta completes my zeta/zz mobile suit team apart from a rock dias but I won't think about that and pretend it's complete.
Kshatriya was a whim purchase and wasn't a must have but now I want the suit it fought against in the opening of gundam unicorn and the sd version is still on my wants to use for a final battle display with the sd neo zeong.
Unicorn narrative Sinaju because the narrative neo zeong will be forever out of my reaches and it still fits my idea of getting 'final battle' mecha.
The sd stardust gundam to replicate the final battle (I don't need the hg kit for the expense of it or the amount of space it would take up) with the aim of getting the 1/550 scale mobile armor to go with it. With scales already out of reason might as well have a weird composite of it.
