Not that this is really news anymore, but I haven't seen a topic here yet, so I'm opening it up. This amazing comic series is finally going to television. They've been talking about making a TV series for, well, as long as I can remember reading it.

I hope it comes soon. I've heard these adaptations that take years, and I'm hoping for something not rushed, but not waffled about so long that it drops into development hell.

If you're not familiar with the series, I suggest grabbing some issues (they can get expensive, so check the library first). Visit the Wikipedia page, but I warn you it's more spoilerific than most entries. As long as you stay away from the character descriptions, you should be spared from most spoilers.

Love me some Walking Dead (though I'm behind about 10 issues).
