Tighten the feet on my MP Optimus Prime
My MP Optimus' feet are loosened so that when I try to stand him upright, he leans forward (bend/leans at the foot joints) and can eventually fall over. Any suggestions out there for tightening up his feet?

clear nailpolish to tighten up the joints.. if that is where the problem is.
mine feels lose but doesn't tip over.. other wise i'd look into using some small rubber bands to keep stuff together..

Ah ha, I wouldn't have thought about that. I'll give that a try. Thanks.

it's not my idea but I guess that is what most people use to tighten it up.. only apply a thin layer at first and make sure it doesn't drip to much.. If you overdo it you never know where that stuff ends up so it's better to apply it gently and properly dry it.
DON'T use a hairdryer or something because you don't want your joints to stick but the feet to melt...

Well, since they pop off, it shouldn't be too hard to layer it on. I'll start with a little and go from there. And definitely no heat-I don't want to have to go ans take my mint one out of the box. Thanks again.

When I apply the polish I try to quickly put the joint back together and keep working the joint until the polish starts to dry and then again every 5 to 10 mins. This helps to make sure the joint doesnt lock as the polish drys.

it does work, my mp-02 foot fell off out of box, and after some quick help, this was the best idea i read. and since, his foot is ready to kick any decepticon's arse

Wouldn't that wear down the polish coat too easily? What I've done is just let it dry completely before I even reassemble to joint.

I find it tents to spread it about and the polish fills the gaps evenly, taking up more space where it is available and moving away from any areas that might have a tighter fit. In my mind it helps eliminate any pressure points.
