I'm all for more Beast Wars anytime.

...and ALL of this.

I like the idea... it could be different by branding it "Beast-COMBINERS" !!!

But seriously, I certainly don't want another Beast Wars series at this point, but I WOULD love to see the remaining combiners released... plus Trypticon and Scorponok in Titan Class, plus a couple of nods to the BW fans by giving us the last few classics-style figures to make up the original lineup. I'm especially wanting a decent Blackarachnia. Her original character never saw a decent figure.

But in the meantime, I hope we get a great, long run of vehicle combiners... all the Scramble City style, G2 repaints, maybe Seekers, etc. If Prime and the cars wind up in CW, I'd love some heavy-hitter first year Decepticons brought into the lineup.

At the very least, I could see Fun Pub doing something to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars in 2016, like finally giving us a Beast Wars: Uprising themed BotCon, but I get the feeling that Hasbro might be hesitant to do another whole year of beast-themed toys so soon after having already done so much beast stuff in 2013 and 2014, especially since a lot of it was met with a very mixed reception.

Though, Takara's Transformers: Legends line, while being yet another counterpart of Hasbro's Generations line (with more toys geared towards G1), is currently already being treated like a commemoration of Beast Wars with its packaging being heavily based on the 1996-1999 Japanese Beast Wars packaging, its first figure being a redeco of the Beast Wars Reborn remold of the Ultra Optimus Primal toy, and its pack-in manga being a chibi-style office comedy starring the Beast Wars characters.

So in a way, Japan is, right now, giving the fandom something special in a lovingly Beast Wars flavor. :D

Now that you mention it OPrimal's box was reminiscent of the Tak BW packaging.
Where could I see pics of the deluxe cards?

All the Legends toy packaging is Takara BW based. Boxes instead of cardbacks. It is glorious. =P~

I know of no translations for any of them, none for the pack-ins nor for the online manga (which the pack-ins might just be some of the same as the online ones).

Though, there's not much story to them, being more like short non-sequitors no longer than the biggest comics found in American Sunday newspapers.

I've used the combined height of AoE Slug and Prime Optimus Prime, since the figures should be around that size, and combined they should reach slightly higher then RotF Leader Prime.

Maybe slightly taller, but they'll definitely have more bulk.

Another day, another Combiner Wars rumor - http://www.allspark.com/content/2014/11 ... iner-wars/

We here at the Allspark have received some new information about future releases for the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars toy line. A Wal-Mart employee and computer sleuth (who has asked to remain anonymous) has dug into the retailer’s inventory system and pulled out a few names that will definitely interest a few Transformers fans… Because it appears that the Protectobots will be the next Generation One gestalt team to join the Combiner Wars! Here are the names that our trusted tipster was able to identify:

Generations Legends Groove
Generations Legends DPT Viper
Generations Legends Warpath
Generations BLD (Blades)
Generations Street (Streetwise/Streetsmart)
Generations First Aid
Generations Protectobot Rook

No listing for the Voyager/torso was found, however one would imagine that it would be Hot Spot. Especially after the recent Kids Day Protectobots released by Hasbro Asia.

Warpath would continue the trend to release the G1 Mini-Cars in the new Legends scale, Groove maintains the original Protectobots while refraining from adding a giant motorcycle to the team, but DPT Viper is a mystery. As is which Rook has gone on to become a member of the Protectobots.

We’ll be keeping a watchful eye out for more information to come out about these listings

Maybe...Legends Groove can "attach" to his deluxe-sized replacement teammate in some fashion, instead of being a micromaster weapon for the gestalt mode like Powerglide for Superion. That way you can still feel like he's a proper piece of Defensor instead of an accessory. Perhaps Warpath will be Defensor's weapon partner instead?

EXTRA EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! RUMORED GENERATIONS COMBINER WARS TOYS OF THE PROTECTOBOTS AND OTHERS!!! SEE FIVE POSTS UP FOR DETAILS!!!

There, that should do it.

In hindsight, I probably should have just used the loudspeaker instead of yelling while holding at my side.
