Alternating leadership of the Insecticons with Bombshell as the need arises, Shrapnel harnesses lightning both as a source of power and as a weapon. One of the few Decepticons that convert into an insect, a Hercules Beetle, Shrapnel's form requires the absorption of a lot of energy to maintain his strength.
