Well, all things considered, I got this figure off of eBay in January for $45, and that was back in January. So not only cheaper, but way earlier than club members.
Prices notwithstanding, I think the important thing is that Nemesis got a figure that he was looking for. The cost is negligable sometimes in the pursuit of happiness. Enjoy it, it is a great one!

Don't you just hate unpriced items? In a local toy store (Intertoys) I found three Classics, two of which were Jetfire and Astrotrain. After some grocery shopping with my wife, only one was left, unpriced. so I picked it up and brought it to the register to have it priced. The price made me hesitate a bit, but I thought "what the hell, I'm at the register anyway, I may as well get it". So I went home with:

Classics Grimlock

The price? A good 18 Euros, the price of an Armada Supercon of 5 years back! Still, a nice piece to round off in anticipation to the DutchBot Con

A small haul today, but it's a goodie for sure.

Today I got a TF I never thought I was going to get, and goes down as one of my holy grails. I finally got one of my holy grails.

I got G1 Megatron. Oh hell yes.

Scratch that one off the list... now I got G1 Op, Omega Supreme and Fortress Maximus to go, and I'm outta grails. Yeah, it's going to be a while, lol.

I've yet to get my grail of grails, but with good reason. Sometime I want to get a complete Grand Maximus (Masterforce repaint of Fortress Maximus).....but they usually run for around $1000. Good thing, though, that would be one of those kind of figures that if I keep it in good condition the value will not drop, so if I somehow need an extra $1000 someday, I could just resell it. I was even thinking of having a clear plastic display case made for it so I could have it out & not collect dust.
