What makes a bad robot mode?
O.k now that I know what make a bad alt mode what makes for a bad robot mode. I figure this can help noobs stay away from some of these types of figures.

bad articulation, and not what it's supposed to look like. Weak joints, well that's unpredictable. Has flaws, like bumblebees huge feet. brawls peg problems. Just bad!

The head/ face features. Lack of poseability, crappy weapons.

Kibble. And no flexibility. Ironically, my favorite transformer has both.

uhh Chaos Bringer, you do know you can't link straight to an image on tfu.info right? Can you fix your image please?
Anyway, a bad robot mode, can be lots of things, form being unposeable to having crappy arms to being completely unstable etc...

first of all, on behalf of all pro gamers we thank you for using the word n00b, secondly, i think what makes a bad figure is bad paint application and just swindle all togther, loose joints and weak automorph. thats a direct hit to swindle, any way, i feel that anyone who sees a swindle review and says "im gonna pick that up today!" is a complet and total n00b.

Call us your hat, America, but you'll never have Prime dollars!

Bad and sloppy paint apps are possibly the bigest issue to robot modes, as they are the first thing you will notice, before you even pick up the toy.
Robot modes that have limited articulation due to gimmicks or alt mode pieces also ranks high on my list. Articulation itself is not so important.
I like my robots to be fairly well proportioned, not human-like in proportion, just well proportioned. Huge chests and arms with tiny legs (looking at you Movie Starscream) in particular get my goolies.
Transformations should also play a part, but that is more of something to discuss about the toy in general, as both alt and robot modes are the end product of a transformation.
