I have three but they all hold equal sentinmental value to me... They are Mindwipe, Blaster and Rodimus Prime. They were the last three my Mom gave me for Christmas. (She died suddenly the next month.) Needless to say those three hold a special place in my collection.

Although I still have almost all of my 43 G1s that I bought/received as a child (I recently retreaved my collection from my parents attic and found Beachcomber is missing
) my favourite is still my first Transformer. It was christmas and I didn't know they existed so imagine my glee at being given a cool jeep that turned into an even cooler robot - Hound. And the obsession was born.

Since I have only two Transformers in my collection (I don't count my Beasties for some reason) and only one of them is original, I'm going with Reflector. My mom made me sell all my original toys, not that I had a huge collection, for about ten bucks. This Collection included: Optimus Prime, Sludge, Ramjet, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, Octane, Ultra Magnus, and a few other minibots that I can't remember. But just losing those few still stings today. So, whenever I look at Reflector (who is here beside me as I type this), I think of all the good times I had with my Transformers. That memory is pretty much the only thing I can remember from my early days. In fact, my sister claims that I was raised by Optimus Prime rather than my dad. I guess I can see her point.

Ouch! I hate stories like that! It's like how my buddy found out his mom threw away all his TFs because she said they have lead in them. What, was she worried her son, in his 20s, would sneak up in her attic and put them in his mouth? Luckily for him though, he's more of a Voltron fan, but not lucky for those poor TFs.

In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

TEN BUCKS?!?!?!?!? They're worth at least 50 times that! I'd make sure she was reminded of her sin everytime we spoke. My parents wanted me to sell them but I'm just too stuborn.

Re: What TFs item holds sentimental value to you?
Wow, these are all great. I have to admit, the only reason I "got back into" Transformers was because of the movie last summer. I took my son (Bad Dad, he is only 3, but he fell asleep, and I REALLY wanted to see the movie), and ever since I am hooked again, just like 1984. Back in the day, I had so many, but the ones that stood out were Optimus, Megatron, Shockwave, Omega Supreme, Soundwave, Bluestreak, Sideswipe, all the Constructicons, Aerial Bots, etc. When I "grew up" into Jr. High School, my mom sold all my Transformers at a garage sale, and I had no objection at the time. She kept all my Star Wars, GI Joe, and Legos however, so that was cool. About a month ago, I was back at her house, and I was going through some old toys with my son that for some reason she kept around. Low and behold, she kept all 5 original Dinobots! They were always my favorite, and I could not believe she kept them! She even had most of their weapons (ebay, here I come!), and immediately my son says "Can I play with your transformers?" Of course knowing that he would immediately snap Swoop's wings, I distracted him while I put them away for safe keeping, but the Dinobots will always hold a special place in my heart!

Steeljaw. Out of all my TFs, Gobots, He-Mans, Lego, and cheap knockoffs that I had as a kid, Steeljaw and an obscure Gobot named Heart Attack are all I have left (thanks to my mom giving away the rest to local kids). Out of these two, I prize Steeljaw more (and, besides, it's a TF thread, not a Gobots thread). He doesn't even have his add-on weapons anymore, just he himself.

The first few Tf I got as a kid - G1 Hound, Slag, and Blitzwing - still in great shape although hounds head raising mechanism is broken and I lost his spare tyre and gas can. Also my best mate left me his Snarl and Megatron when he moved away which was awesome (he also left me an incomplete skywarp but I sold that off)

G1 Outback and Galvatron, my first TF's.
G1 Prowl who got me back into collecting.
Oversized KO Bruticus, first TF I got on ebay, purchased as a birthday present for me by my ex fiancee. The following year she bought me rare Argentinian recolours of Cliffjumper and Bumblebee even though we were broke up.
Armada Unicron, first TF she bought me.
My old Marvel UK comic book collection as various issues remind me of different events in my life.
Beachcomber, first TF in my house.
The Michael Bay movie. It was like seeing an old friend and the music playing as the Autobots arrive almost had me welling up with tears.

I have to say me too. It reminded me of when my father took me to see the original "86" movie. I don't care what anyone says about the movie i think it was great and hopefully the next ones will be even better! I never thought in a million years they would have made a Tfs live action movie! Ahhh memories!

G1 Astrotrain - he's in a bad shape, I had to fix one his wing with glue, the stickers are worn, but c'mon, he followed me everywhere during my childhood! I have to do some more fixes and he will stand in front of my whole collection again. All Hail Astrotrain!!!
G1 Defensor - I remember I was so lucky when my dad gave me First Aid and Blades so my Defensor was completed. He is still in a good shape minus some worn stickers, favourite item of my collection.
G1 Swindle - another toy from my childhood, now I do some ebay and bbts searching to get the rest of his buddies to form the almighty Bruticus...

I dont have any of the TF's I owned as a kid.. like so many others, I thought I'd gotten too old for them and gave them away.. admittedly to someone who I knew would look after them.
If memory serves I had Optimus Prime, Grimlock, the Powermaster Slapdash, the Action Master Optimus set (with the cab that turned into a jet) Rotorstorm and a whole mess of Micromasters and their bases, including Countdown..
While I might sometimes get misty eyed about them.. Id say the TF that holds the most sentimental value to me would be RiD Super Prowl (the blue 'powered up' repaint)..
I saw him in Conways Toymaster whilst I was in college and in all honesty he is what got me back into Transformers. Id watched pretty much all of Beast Wars whilst it was on TV,.. but the toys just never grabbed me, sure they were cool, some of them are still awesome now, but it just didnt feel the same (if that makes sense).
He's in pretty bad shape after two house moves (and my mum trying to throw him out a couple of times before I moved out) but I have every intention of sitting down with some paint and cleaning stuff to bring him back to his natural glory

Wow. Sentiment. I guess that would have to be the g1 sunstreaker that grimpoo (friend and fellow seibertronian) got me last year. He was the first tf I owned as a kid and I remember carrying the thing EVERYWHERE lol.
The more recent sentimental tf I own also came from my good buddy grimpoo. He is a classics sunstreaker re-painted and has a re-tooled re-painted head. He is 2 shades of green, black and silver and I call him driveshaft. He is me if I were a transformer lol. I left him factionless because I probibly would be if I were cybertronian.
My whole collection kinda holds a slight sentimental value but these 2 above all.

There are 3, possibly 4 that would hold sentimental value to me simply because they came from my childhood collection. Wreck-Gar, Squeezeplay, and BattleTrap. A possible 4th one would be Punch-Counterpunch. After tossing out my original collection ( a very stupid move), and some years later I found some that I had not taken w/ me in my original move-out for parents. Those were the ones that keep in my collection. The rest were broken and incomplete so I sold them to help pay for my continued collecting.
Another part of sentimental value in my collection would be the pieces given to me for Christmas one year by my brother. In this collection were the following- G1: Scorponok, Powermaster Optimus Prime, and (possibly) the Punch-Counterpunch mentioned earlier. There were others from various other toylines like Armada but I gave/sold those off as I had no interest in them or they were duplicates.
One final piece of sentimental value would be the very first transformer I acquired in trade here on this forum w/ Thanatos. Quake is still a gem in my collection for that reason (not to mention the impossibility of finding that blasted tank turret barrel).

When I was younger I would cut up the boxes TF's came in, ads, and other stuff and put it all into a binder. It's old and ratty now, but I'm glad I still have it.

G1 Snarl is the first TF I remember getting. My brother got Sludge and we played with those things together non-stop. Our birthdays were close together so we always got similar toys from people. For another birthday, I got Snapdragon and he got Apeface. Same story.
I know those toys are still at my parent's house, but i can't find them. I will continue looking until they turn up...

I wasn't around in the time of G1, so I have more modern transformers.
My favourite transformer is probably my Animated Lugnut that I got a couple of weeks ago, for my birthday. Why? The badass mace. I mean, it's MASSIVE!!!

For me it's a toss up between Cybertron Metroplex who i picked up 20 minutes before my son Buddy was born or G1 Trypticon. My big brother Buddy got me the G1 Trypticon for christmas in 1989, he never had the chance to give it to me because he was killed on christmas eve on his way to pick me up.

Currently searching for Cybertron Supreme Starscream & G2 Go-Bots Megatron, Complete at good prices. PM if you can help please.
