Stupid admin's deleted it because they thought it was to immature trying to make the saite more adult friendly How can they have that WHEN THEY HAVE A FORUM ABOUT A CHILDRENS TOY

They're trying to make the site more child friendly because it's a forum about a children's toy.

That still doesn't explain the Party Forum. Nothing really wrong there, or at least nothing that the removal of the few overly adult threads wouldn't fix.

I can agree with making the site more child friendly. I'd just like the forum to be able to handle good discussions as well without risk of them turning into flame wars.

Which is why the Philosopher's Forum was taken down. But the Party Forum was the exact opposite of the Philosopher's Forum. It was just fun and games, there was no threat of a flame war like there was with the Philosopher's Forum.

Imagine my surprise logging on this evening and seeing one of my favorite forums disappeared without so much as an explanation!

Without using the choice grown-folk-words I used when I saw this, needless to say I am a bit irritated. There was nothing there that was offensive for the wee-ones that I saw. Everything there was basically tongue-and-cheek fun that many enjoyed, myself included. Making things more kiddie-friendly in this manner will, no doubt, make people more upset than I.

A Sticky in there explaining what was going on would have been better than just Bermuda Triangling it! Not griping. Just stating.
