which figures you want to be made in the masterpiece collection?
so far in the masterpiece line, only 3 molds were made, the rest are either repaint or include extra accessories. prime been repaint 4 times and starscream 3 times. so the question is what other characters you want takara to make in the future such as soundwave. but i really want to see if takara will make jetfire as mp-07 or mp-08... personally i think jetfire will kick major ass than marcross one.

Easy decision.
Ironhide with a Ratchet repaint for the Autobot side
Soundwave with a Soundblaster repaint for the Decepticon side.
You all know damn well an accurate/modern version of Ironhide would PWn US ALL DOODS!
To softimus...
My support of the Masterpiece line will end with the introduction of other generations or lines of figures... Just as it did with those once cool PVC's from Takara a few years back.

There will never be a g1 bubblebee because volkwagon is german car manufactor and they refuse to allow there cars to be used in toys that promote war. If I had to choose one figure to become a mp figure it would Cosmos because after see the titianum protype it would look amazing as mp figure.

Jazz and Mirage have already been made as Alternators, essentially the same line as MP. Shockwave also, but he was only a retool.
However, I'd definitely buy a Soundwave. That would be just awesome.

I'll second movie Ironhide. He's an AWESOME voyager fig ... just imagine! Plus, he probably has self esteem issues that need to be resolved from the G1 sticker face era.
On second thought ... better throw ratchet in there as well!

Sixshot. Either in MP or Classics. When was the last time we had a real, original sixchanger? The last one was RiD Megatron. And while he wasn't a bad figure, some of his modes were pretty out there. I think a new Sixshot would rule.

masterpieces should be restricted to G1, that way us oldskool guys finally get some limbs and accentuation like in the newer lines.
that said jetfire was good as a classics but doesn't seem interesting for takara as it restricts their beloved repaints.
So Ratchet would make a nice mold, Runabout/Runamuck would be interesting. the soundblaster/wave blaster/twincast thingy gets my seal of approval when it would be an extension of the mp3 player soundwave line, I want the cassettes as USB sticks. We still have some seekers to go.
Shockwave would also get my vote of confidence btw.

just because it would limit repaintability(is that a word lol) does not meen it wont happen. I cant think of any character that they could make by repainting the megs mold.

I still want a MP Inferno. Ah an 1:24/1:25 scale fire truck to match my Alternators and Binaltechs... and a Grapple repaint.
But more likely Candidates:
Galvatron
Ultra Magnus
Rodimus Prime
Grimlock
and of course, the four to go seeker repaints.

yeah megs is a bit of a shot in the dark ... it could also be that the collective consciousness of the corporation reached a level where they saw that they actually needed to do something to keep us, the fanbase, buying there stuff... seriously .. would you keep buying the mp's if mp-1 to 10 where based on two molds?
MP-5 was the necessary investment to keep us suckers buying that stuff.

Actually a Bumblebee could be done in the MP line. If you look at prime he is not a specific make or model of truck. In the G1 cartoon the cars were kind of generic but had some of the hallmarks of the actual cars they were based on. As long as Bumblebee was a compact, roundish, yellow car, I believe he could be pulled off. I think they could get a lot closer than the classics version without actually using the VW bug design. The only thing that would be a problem is that the MP line has so far only made characters that are about Prime's size, Bumblebee would be small for a MP figure.

Bumblebee would even be too small for an alternator, though I'd still love to see it happen. So what's left? Scorponok?

I rather have a Classics Sixshot so I can transform him without almost breaking him!
As for who I'd like to see as an MP... Maybe Soundwave with ALL of his tapes! And maybe they can remold him as Blaster, too!
