Will there ever be a Blue Die-Cast Metal (Binaltech) version of Mirage?

Postby Kingplay » Tue Jul 17, 2007 10:35 am

I am somewhat new to the Binaltech/Alternator series.
I can see that Mirage has a sweet looking Alternator version, but I don't think there is a binaltech version?
Or is there...

Anyone know whether or not they will ever make a Blue
die-cast-metal version of the toy?

The only diecast version of that mold is the Kiss player Hot Rodimus and it's in Red...that I know of anyway.

No, Kiss Players is all plastic, but with better paint jobs. There's no die-cast BT version of Mirage I'm afraid, the onlu BT version is done in clear plastic, no hint of die-cast (obviously).
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Thing is, the mold really doesn't lend itself to metal. It could be done, I suppose but better than 80% of it would be plastic anyway. So why mess with it? Best you'd get are doors and the chest flap... maybe the quarter panels. Not worth it.
