Will they be able to bring Jazz back?
I read somewhere that they might bring Jazz back for #2. I wonder if there is any truth to that or just someone speculating what might happen for the 2nd movie.

I can't see why they would. I'd imagine they would want to introduce new characters wherever they can in order to churn out more toys.

Technically yeh, cause he's only a robot so they could remake him, but i read somewhere that they only killed him off cause the guy who did his voice died.
But they could always remake jazz and get him a new voice box?

They can rebuild him, yes. But his spark was extinguished when he died, and without the Allspark, there's really no way (that I can see) Jazz can come back.

Makes room for Blaster to be the token black guy though.

Dude, he didn't die. He was the guy from Family Matters. He's only in his early 30s. He played the son on that show.

As much as I would like to see Jazz come back (he'z kewl), getting torn in half doesn't seem all that survivable.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

The Jazz from the movie was so retarded. I don't care if he was the "black" TF or not.
Besides, if he was "black" does that make the others "white"?
They shouldn't bring him back.

I heard that in an early draft for TF2, Ratchet and Ironhide started trying to reassemble Jazz. The head reactivates while Ironhide is repairing him and he says, "What's happening bitches?" Ironhide then immediately crushes Jazz's face in with his hands, and Jazz deactivates again. Ratchet asks Ironhide if he was saying something, to which Ironhide replies, "Yeah, I was saying he's a lost cause, he's gone, let's move on."

Sorry to inform you but you got a few things mixed up.The actor that voiced Jazz in the 1980's cartoon [Scatman Crothers] died but the actor that voiced him in the live action movie [Darius McCrary] is alive and well and is in the middle of filming a new movie as we speek.

One of his new movies that's supposed to be out sometime soon is called Steppin: The Movie. Here's a clip.

if it could be done well, I'd like to see him come back. About the only time I thought he wasn't so great was his introduction to the kids. The rest of the time he was an excellent soldier and a valuable member of the team. From wanting to rescue Bumblebee to charging Brawl, and finally tangling with Megatron even though he was massively out matched, he was a tough character that was extremely reliable. He just had an iffy intro.

I admit that I was upset that Jazz eats it but I've come up with a cool subplot for the second movie. I think would be awesome if Blaster came into the picture and blamed Prime for Jazz's death but learns to respect Prime by the end of the film.

Jazz's death was stupid, pointless and more. They should bring him back! BB was BLOWN in half by Starscream yet survived. Jazz was also torn in half, (but with extra shots) and dies.Although, pure awesommeness would be if they follow the "story" on his G1 repaint. But, I am all for Jazz being fixed. Another thing they could do, is rebuild him, but handicapp him.

Think about it guys: Jazz very well could come back.
You know that little piece of the All Spark cube Prime pulled out of Megatron's chest could be of some use in the next film.
Ratchet could use that to bring his spark back, but then Jazz may come back as a Decepticon due to him not having the Matrix in his system.
Anything's possible with this franchise.

To be honest, i would have liked to see Jazz put up a good fight aganist Megatron. He could protect Sam while Irohide and Rachet tangle with Screamer. Idk, i jsut think it woudl have been awsome, seeing Jazz scampering all around Megs blasting the hell outta him.

I'm sure it will be... the only question is how they'll do it. Will it be the Matrix, will it revive dead robots, will it regenerate back into a full Allspark, will it... name something. As you said, anything's possible with this franchise.
And I agree with Pontimax--Jazz was great after his... whatever that was during his introduction. His bravery more than made up for his size.
