5 Page previews for upcoming Tranformers comic books from IDW Publishing have been posted at the Comics Continuum for your viewing pleasure. Here are the story breakdowns for both issues:

Transformers Spotlight: Drift will arrive in stores on April 8 from IDW Publishing. The issue is written by Shane McCarthy, with art by Casey Coller and covers by Coller and Guido Guidi.

Here's how IDW describes the issue:

"This month, the spotlight falls on the newest Transformer in the universe: Drift! Learn how Drift joined the Autobot cause and how he figures into the events unfolding in the pages of All Hail Megatron. Guest-starring the Wreckers, Kup and Perceptor."

Transformers Spotlight: Drift will be 32 pages and will cost $3.99.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Movie Prequel: Defiance #4 will arrive in stores on April 8 from IDW Publishing. The issue is written by Chris Mowry, with art by Dan Khanna and Andrew Griffith, covers by Josh Nizzi and Alex Milne.

Here's how IDW describes the issue:

"The explosive conclusion to the official prequel to this summer's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen film! With their forces united, the Decepticon army prepares to leave Cybertron on a mission of galactic conquest. But the Autobots and their leader, Optimus Prime, plan to do the unthinkable in order to defeat the increasingly powerful Megatron."

I like the art in Spotlight Drift, i want to see that woman doing more comic art.

Liking the different setting for the opening of Spotlight Drift, Art looks good, IDW have found another talented artist to add to their ranks.

Hopefully the writing can match the art, but after the shambles that was Blurr, but I am not hopeful.

I like the part in the Drift preview that expounds on Sideswipe's diatribe in AHM #9. The Autobots arent heroes throughout the galaxy but rather the entire race of Cybtronians are hated for what their war has done to many worlds.
