When I transform Encore Megatron to his gun mode his chest plate (the part where the pellets go in in gun mode) will not click down properly. Either one end of the chest plate goes down and the other goes up or else it won't budge. Please help me and thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same problem with mine, and kinda fixed it. Basically, you need to pull the chest off as carefully as possible. With abit of time it will come off. Now inside the chest you will see a small piece of plastic that hangs from the top of the chest. The end of this is probably bent, stoping u from move his chest down during transformation. What I did was, I just bent this the opposite way slightly, bit by bit, so it straghtens out as much as possible. Its quite a soft piece of plastic but be careful. Keep easing it in the opposite direction and you should be able to get it just right. Now clip the chest back on and slowly ease the chest down and see if you can transform it.

Yes it worked, thank you heaps! At first it was pretty stiff but i heated it up and it straightened right out! WAHOOOOH!!

I have the same problem with my Megatron Encore. @oRuin: Do you think it would be possible for you to include the pic of the little piece I should bend inside the chest? I'm sorry if it's 2 much trouble, I'm just worry I'm gonna do it wrong and screw up the toy for good.

I have had three Megatrons (two vintage, one TFC) and have had probels with the torso similar to that on all three. It could be a design flaw, similar to G1 Astrotrain's wonky legs or Hot Rods missing knees (Hot Rod has knees, but you have to unscrew his legs to see them, and then the toy doesn't transform)

And all this time, I thought it was just mine.

I have a KO Megatron. Loose as all get ut but the chest transforms just fine. One of those things I suppose.
