The Energon repaint does look nice... though I'll have to see real pics instead of the photoshopped monstrosities that Hasbro always seems to release. Very interested to see just how poseable Genesis is, as that will play a major factor... can't do much with that Energon mold.

Yeah, the idea of a highly posable OS is great but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay 3P prices to get it, especially with the good looking preminum Energon version coming soon. Hmmmmm....

Sadly, same for me. The GDO Omega will be my Classics Omega, as was probably intended.

Either way Planet X needs to consider the length in time they're spacing out what they reveal depending on who they're trying to appeal to. If they don't try to push out some more substantial pics at a faster pace they may loose a lot of market to Hasbro and their Energon Omega reissue.

Now I know there still isnt much to go on, but this could turn out to be the modern, highly articulated homage to Omega Supreme that the fans have been waiting for?
The G1 purists may scoff but the original version is totally fugly and the Energon version whilst being kinda ok seems to lack a certain something?

More pictures please Project Genesis people because the fans (and Chuck Norris) demands it!!!

Actually, I thought it before and I think even more so now that this is a WfC homage of Omega Supreme. Look at those gun turrets they show in the latest pics. They look exactly like those on WfC Omega Supreme in the game and are even in the same place.

What they show of the chest in the latest pic looks the same as well.

It looks like a Bad ass Robot, even if I don't like the WFC/FOC style robots.
It's lookin leader sized, and I'm scared the LED gimmick will put this at a price point I'll throw up over.

The only thing that could stop me from getting this is the price tag.

No, but I'm predicting $100-$150 for YOTS Omega and $200+ for this guy.

Sounds about right for both, which firmly puts me into YOTS Omega.

Anyone have an idea when YOTS Omega is supposed to come out, btw?

I really like it but the hands seem a bit oversized. I know they are basing it off the game but looks odd on the actual figure.

It would be nice to see the price for the Energon repaint comparable to the Amazon Unicron release at $80-100. Even at $125ish, I'd buy it. As for the Genesis version, it'll definitely more than I want to spend-I can just tell by looking at it.

These upper arms look too weak and scrawny.

Unless this thing winds up being the most amazing transforming toy ever, at that price, it's doomed.

Edit: so the LED lights will be something you have to pay for after the initial pre-order: even crazier.

If a proven 3P was producing this, it may be worth it. But this seems too ambitious for a newcomer.

I would guess this may come down a little upon actual release, I know that sometimes happens, but this is rather rich for my blood!

You never know, it could turn out to be a proven 3rd party behind it but using a new off-shoot name the way Fansproject (Maketoys) and CHMS (X-Transbots) did?

I would like to see a teaser prototype photo with size comparison against a familiar favourite such as WFC Prime or Megatron? Just a leg shot would do for the moment!
