if i remember correctly he was always like a dark red burgundy color. That being said I would love to see him done with the same plastic they used on thrust

Wow. I'm sold. And this isn't even the painted prototype yet. I like this version of him better than Gen. Jazz, Tracks and WJ. Very impressive. Looks better than the other myriad of tanks that are out right now. (Definitely as cool as Bludgeon too!)

There was a picture of a full color prototype leaked a few days ago but it was only a thumbnail. The tiny little smudge was a nice deep red all over so no fears on the color being screwed up this time!

I'd like to see a WFC Warpath as well, though.

Still, this is a VERY buyable piece of TF masterpiece. I just hope he comes in the darkest possible shade of red. Light red plastic makes TF's look cheap and KO'ish.

I'm so glad he has raised tank tread feet like he did in the cartoon. Arms are also tank treads, which looks badass. I'll pick up for the Hasbro and Takara Versions for sure.

I think this would also make a good Fallen repaint. You wouldn't even have to remould the head. Or Bombshell...

Looks like Warpath will live up to my expectations. Still somewhat disappointed he isn't (likely) a Voyager. But even as a Deluxe he still looks amazing.

Looks awesome! My only quip would be the feet. As others have mentioned, the rockered ankles should be a standard now on all figures. Other than that, yeah, very awesome! Can't wait to see a painted version!
