I think at some point in season 2 or beyond that they should be added. I mean, they already have designs for them for the MMO coming out.
For those that haven't seen them: Barricade and Prowl
I think they look really cool and they could be easily added. In "Con Job" Arcee states that the masses that fled Cybertron went all around the Universe, so more transformers could easily be added. I'm sure the toy companies wouldn't mind

I love both characters & would like to see them in the TF Prime cartoon & toy line.
I'd like the following origin story for both prowl & barricade: They would be brothers. one chose the good path while the other chose the evil path. prowl arrives on earth first & scans a police car vechicle. barricade to mock & taunt his brother also choses a police car alt mode but choses to be a evil cop type bot.
to make things even cooler & following animated. both of them could be ninja brothers. prowl would act like snake eyes while barricade acts like storm shadow. ofcause the colors would be opposite but that's a minor detail.

I can totally see that story happening. But the flaw I see with it is the incessant whining of people saying "amg bayformers galore" due to Barricade being a police car in the films :/ The complaining about Bumblebee is already annoying enough

I think they need Prowl and Ironhide to join the Autobots. Barricade would be awesome for the Decepticons.
