Just got mine and I want to know whether its a norm for his pseudo "rubber hose"/ tank tread to twist when attaching it to his left arm in 'bot mode? If that's the case, wouldn't it eventually crack in the future?

Someone posted recently that continual flexing and movement of rubber helps to keep it supple.
I believe there are ointments that can be applied to prolong the life.
