please.. if you know, will you answer this question? I have been wondering why do the DOTM figures have less paint and are smaller? the paint issue is the one I want to know more about since the rotf toys had decent paint

They're smaller because of the ridiculous amount of plastic a MechTech weapon takes and possibly to reduce the price. The paint reduction may have been to reduce the price, but I'm not sure. Both changes are $%@#ing disappointing.

To save money..I was noticing this while messing with Crankcase..His vehicle mode is oddly small...

It's **** stupid here. The prices are higher then before, HFTD deluxe figures were 12 euro(yeh we have Euros, I'm Irish) and the DOTM deluxe figures are 16 euro, that annoyed me soooooo much

I have to admit I really haven't noticed a decrease in the size of the figures. I guess I haven't put them next to a previous figure yet.

Regarding the lack of paint apps, I did notice it on Voyager Megatron, but only in passing. I REALLY noticed it on Deluxe Sideswide. That figure just looks, oh I don't know exactly...incomplete. It looks like a prototype!

They are not that bad, i just opened my bumblebee and he is fine!

To you. But to others, you do notice that there are barely any other paint apps than Yellow and Black Grey, right?

What does that have to do with the topic at hand? We're talking about DOTM figures, not "other transformers" unless you mean "other DOTM figures"

There's more, in fact, exotic paint apps (Blue, Red, Black, and more detail with Grey and Yellow) on ROTF and Movie 1 Bumblebee than DOTM Bumblebee. Notice how the legs are mostly yellow. compare that with say ROTF Bumblebee. There was more color detail there. Other than that, yes, that's true.

What's the deal with Roadbuster? Why did Hasbro choose to make his deluxe version look like a typical NASCAR racer but his upcoming legends and HA he looks nice and wicked like Topspin?

Size can be attributed to MechTech weapons needing that extra plastic. Paint apps could be a cost cutting measure or complete laziness.

I know when we finally see a complete CGI render of Roadbuster, i'm painting him up a bit to match.
