The listed ones are the characters that are currently in play. If you would like to play Sunstorm, you would need to write his profile and sample post according to the provided template. Then it would be up to the mods to determine if they approve or not and if they have any suggestions for your app.

You can add onto a character's profile, but its preferred you draw from official sources. I've seen people add things with obscure characters before and it tends to be alright. So long as its not too crazy.

As for your second question...Mods tend to be a bit hesitant with Sunstorm. Especially with new players. If his radiation is as powerful as it is in certain continuities, I don't think it'll fly. Stronger characters like that require some time invested as a player. If I'm honest, it might be best to either nerf that power in the profile or choose another character entirely.

This is my advice, and you can still try if you like, of course.

I still want to try as I've spent all my free time the past two days reading and comparing wiki articles about Sunstorm to get him down correctly so that I can write up hos bio in my own words. Of course I wouldn't stray very far at all from the source materials. I just want to make sure I make him fit properly into this version of the TF universe and add enough info so that my character doesn't seem bland and boring. Also if his power needs to be altered or nuked a bit I don't mind as long as it's not nuked so much that there's no point in his special ability (because that's highly annoying and makes me not want to play characters). This is why I want to deviate somewhat from the original idea so that he can still be formidable in battle but not as erratic and hazardous to allies. Foximus, I will show you his app first after I have written it so that we can collab on making it the best it can be, as you originally offered.

Ok so real quick before I typing again...the Thanatos is currently the main HQ? How many bases do we have and what are they called/where are they? Also is it ok (since this is a sample post) to post in the recent past?

The Decepticons, and most of the Cybertronian race really, are in a nomadic phase right now since their home world is largely uninhabitable. So in that sense, their vessels are definitely their primary headquarters and bases of operations. But there are also outposts and prisons, like Styx, where the Decepticons also operate. We use them in the game whenever we feel it makes for an interesting setting.

The Thanatos is the largest Decepticon ship in the Earth region, but there are some others, such as the downed Stunticon ship, the Ultrax and the Combaticons ship called the Obliteration, though it's not being used as an rp location currently. Those ships are all part of the first fleet. There are three fleets spread out across the universe. The game currently explores the goings on of the first two and there's some plotting for the third, but that will come later. How many bases are there total? No idea. The Decepticon flagship, the Nemesis, is off in a region of space known as Kol and is part of its own side story at the moment.

As to being ok to post in the recent past for the sample, I don't see why not.

Just a question, the fanmade rules say that Invisibility penalty is -6 to -12. What if I want to have a chameleon-esque effect where it's more semi-blending into your surroundings? It'd fool the average eye but if you stared closely/if you were someone with a good amount of perception you'd notice it? And it doesn't hide you from Radar/Sonar/whatever other scanners. What would a penalty for something like that be?
