Hey guys while I'm in the midst of waiting for human alliance soundwave to be released, i thought i would go out and get the Autobot leader himself to add to my collection. But there is alot of different kinds of Optimus so based on yor personal opinions, I was wondering which DOTM Optimus Prime I should get. Also what is the differnce between the original voyager class OP and the Fireburst one?

If you need a DOTM Optimus then you should get Fireburst Optimus Prime. The difference between the two voyagers are the paint scheme and the Mechtech weapons. Firebust has a blaster that changes into an energon axe and the original has a blaster that just opens up into a larger blaster with solar panels.

I have the Ultimate OP and it is kind of disappointing in terms of movement and articulation. It is impressive however just standing there. The head is also too small when OP is in the trailer suit.

My favorite prime that I have is the HFTD Leader one. It's a real nice figure and it will only cost you $20 at a Ross or TJ Maxx.

Ultimate Optimus Prime in relation to both Voyagers in DOTM is still like comparing gem to a turd. I wouldn't even buy DOTM Voyager OP (either one) for $5.00 even if it was for ToysForTots they are so crappy. (Which oddly enough is what they are this week at Target if you price match Toys'R'Us ad and use both the Hasbro coupon and Target coupon. Which is a total of $10 off $14.99, the catch is you have to have more items on the reciept than the number of coupons you use.)

Do what Dogma said, or you can try and find a HFTD Voyager Battle Blades Prime. He is just as amazing as the Leader just more compact into a Voyager.

DOTM Deluxe Prime isn't all that bad if you're looking for something smaller. That said, there are better Primes out there.

I say: avoid all DOTM OPs and look for RotF instead.

Though I do have UOP. And am regretting buying it. It was a total impulse thing. It does look imposing, and the trailer fits almost perfectly with G2 Laser Prime, but the smaller Prime by himself looks a bit weird. he's bigger than Voyager but smaller than Leader. Doesn't quite go well with Megatron.
