Thalack wrote:WoW! That's horrid. Sadly some of the mail delivery people are idiots and don't know better. Thankfully, USPS has always left items in plastic bags when it's raining around my area. But I've had a run in with fedex when they threw a package over my front gate that was clearly covered in stickers saying "Fragile" and "Glass". Low and behold, when I picked up the package, the glass inside was shattered.
Yeah, I'm starting to think it has more to do with the deliverers themselves than the company that hires them, tho the companies are partially guilty for hiring them in the first place (Ok, that didn't make sense).
My wife's major beef has always been with UPS, both privately and professionally. 8 out of 10 times, when it's fragile, it's broken, more so for home deliveries. And half of the time, the boxes look pretty beat up, let alone the contents. It's gotten to the point that whenever we see a UPS truck we cringe. "What can Brown do for you? Break your stuff"
Sadly they deliver here in the Netherlands, god knows why. I feel sorry for the ones who have to deal with them.

No that makes perfect sense. The employers sometimes just hire whoever they want regardless.
But as far as UPS, we used to call them Oops at work. Hell, a co-worker even did a parody song about UPS using the Britney Spears song "Oops I did it again". Was freaking hilarious. And we used to piss off our UPS guy cause every time he came in with a delivery someone would say OOOOPS! really loud. He'd really get it if any of the boxes had any dents or marks on them.
