Hey guys, interesting news.

I was playing around with my Ratchet yesterday and found that on the "Axe" side of his arm, how you have to flip up that tab to make his hand twist around...

Well if you just flip up the tab and leave it there it looks like a mini-gun, and is easier to recognize rather than the other one that was on the actual axe and that was just a plastic screw.

when the figure is faceing you you have to look at the left arm and open up the green 4arm door peice and then you can tuck his hand into his for arm.close up the green tab.pull down the oposite side the part that has the red stripes onit.and thats his ax.

Lift that Tab up and you will see the mini-gun still have to pretend though... It is not the gun you would expect...

Alternately, I unfolded the 'axe' bit from his arm, but left the two sides of it together. The round hinge piece looks like a wrist-mounted gun barrel.

Ok I dont see it I have tried and dont see what you see...can anyone post a pick of it being done on the toy so I know what the hell you are talking about?

Hmm, as far as I can tell he is refering to the part of the axe that is folded up inside the arm. There is a sort of "prong" that sticks out a small way when that small green flap is up. Doesnt look much like a minigun to me but some imagination it could be some sort of weapon.

I had no idea that little green piece moved and unless the "prong" is supposed to be a weapon I dont see any use for it unless its a left over from some other feature that didnt make it.

I wanna see pics of this "prong". I don't have the toy yet, and this might mean something as to how much I want it.

Alternatively, anyone know if there's a way to mount FAB Ratchet's gun on Voager Ratchet somewhere?

Exactly, doesn't look muh like a mini-gun but its better than that little prong thing on the axe.

Instructions again : Just flip that green tab up, and don't move the axe out of there, and you will se what I am talking about.

Could someone tell me if I've got Ratchets roof rack thing right in robot mode? I've attached it to his left arm, and both parts are currently facing down (as his arm is pointing down), is it supposed to be like that? I'm not even sure what sort of weapon it's supposed to be lol.

Its a claw, grabby thing. Move the little stub on the tyre and it will open the grabber.

Sounds like you have it correct.

So he's got a claw/grabby thing, and a tiny axe thing? Since he's a doctor, does he use the axe for repairs?

I don't see it as a minigun, but its like those inkblot tests. People interpret it differently.

I like to think he uses the axe for "search and rescue," so he can cut through rubble to dig an injured bot out. As for the claw/grabby-thing, i pretty much just leave it attached it to his back. i think it looks stupid in his hand, and when its attached, i can never get the 'grabby-action' to work without popping it off. I think it looks even more bayformer-tastic if you open it before attaching to his back.
