Google says his name is based on Heimdall which is pretty funny if true.

He's actually older than all of the other characters, being a secret agent of Vector Sigma. He just acts like he's their age as part of his cover.

He was originally conceived as this type of character in the early stages of BWN's development:

"A mysterious individual. Appears suddenly from a time hole with a word of advice. Doesn’t like to fight, but in fact is one of the strongest Cybertrons. Once fought against Unicron. Knows this secret, but due to the shock of battle has lost his memory. Strict when it comes to time. Roughly 45."

As for the "Heimdall" thing, that sounds more like an AI-based guess than anything.

I hope there be more to be released from this line. Then we can play Family Feud.

Oh, there will be... a new Optimus/Starscream and Megatron/Bumblebee one year, then a different Optimus/Starscream and Megatron/Bumblebee the next year, then another Optimus/Starscream and Megatron/Bumblebee the next, and so on and so forth. That's all we're getting under this "Transformers: Timelines" label.

My bad. It was already mentioned here of Megatron & Bumblebee 2-pack.

So I guess these are just a timed exclusive for Pulse? The first set with Hearts of Steal Optimus and Starscream are now available at fan channel stores (or at least at Entertainment Earth and BBTS).

That and the ox itself only really forms Prime's torso and inner thighs. the wagon forms the arms and most of the legs

That price tag is gonna cause a feud.

I got my Bumblebee and Megatron.

While Optimus was amazing and Starscream was kinda eh, this set is full speed fun.

Bee is so nice and has a wonderful hand feel, plus his head sculpts are just joyful. Also cool how you can have the alt in flying or walking modes with dedicated tabs for each!

Megatron is the king, that transformation is unique and so fun, and I love how bulky and angry he is. I love it!

Megs reminds me of Pig King from Monkey Magic.

Megatron & Bumblebee 2-pack is $90 AUD. Whereas OptImus & Starscream 2-pack $70 AUD right next to it on the shelf at JB HiFi.

I hope I'll be lucky enough to happen upon this Megs and Bee set in store.
