Day one of the Montreal Comiccon.

I got all of these Atari 2600 games at 5$CAN each, and a complete Tiny Toons Adventure game for Genesis at 30$CAN. No taxes.



Then, a Titanium Thrust for 30$CAN.
And unexpectedly, just before I was about to leave, I happenned upon TR Twin Twist and Top Spin. Both complete and in perfect condition for... 45$CAN each. No taxes. That's cheaper than the current deluxe price with taxes!



That was some insane luck!

Do you own the game consoles?

I bought vintage Wing Commander (5.25" floppy discs) at a local thrift shop but don't have the PC to play. More for nostalgia. The game box packaging artwork & booklets are awesome.

Do you own the game consoles?

Of course I have them. I have my old Sega CD-X and for the Atari games, the recent Atari 2600+. If you want to play Atari in HD, this is the console. And it's not just a "mini console." It does take the OG cartridges!

BTW, my final Montreal Comiccon haul:

First, a number pad controller for a single Atari game for cheap, plus an old G1 Snapdragon body for a possible custom for 3$CAN. Then, the duo of G1 Top Spin and Twin Twist, complete with their gun for 50$CAN for the pair. But at that price, Twin Twist needs some repair. Luckily, I have all the parts at home to fix it.
Then, I got the SS86 Starscream (full price but eh), a quite expensive Starscream shirt, and a very cute acrylic display from a female artist who is a hardcore TF fan!



I had to at least get one piece of signed art from an artist at Comiccon. Despite the fact that the acrylic display was more expensive than 2 large prints, I just found this little thing too adorable and perfect.

I never saw these Botshots re-releases at the time when the shelves were full of TF1 stuff. And here it is, at Marshall's. The price was reasonable so why not?

Picked these guys up over the weekend! Studio Series Sunstreaker, Transformers X Hot Wheels Twin Mill, Authentics Prime Changers Optimus and Megatron!

Optimus' truck mode is just slightly assembled wrong somehow because the two rear passenger wheels are raised off surfaces slightly. Megatron is damn good though, other than his fists being buried in tank kibble. I have few complaints about Twin Mill, like maybe the arms are a little too short and the chest plate blocks his face. Sunstreaker almost perfect, but he comes with no weapons, which isn't a huge deal but at the price they sell at is something to note.

Haven't bought transformers in store for a while so this was fun!

EDIT: Apparently there's no way to turn an image 90 degreese once it's been uploaded here. Damn.

Got AoTP Onslaught in yesterday, Brawl should be here by Monday. Then only Swindle will be missing.

Strangely, this is making me want to reacquire the CW set...

Well, the CW set is now considered "outdated," making its price go down. I'm sure the UW set will pop up at Mandarake sooner or later. But appart for custom fodder, let's forget about the K.O.
