I've always wanted to draw one of the Transformers Lamborghini Triplets, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and Red ALert. So I when I first saw a pic of the new and awesome Lamborghini Reventon on FHM (or possibly Maxim), I just knew it was going to be my next Transformers project. I chose to do Red Alert since he was my favorite out of the three. Now if I can only finish up his partner Inferno.



Initial sketch, at first I wanted to put "Mission City" on the Fire Department logo, the same city mentioned in Michael Bay's movie.


Megatron, somewhere in the Philippines. I just finished this today and had fun drawing this.






Arcee, I did this about 2 weeks ago, just never bothered posting it. I wanted to keep this piece as simple as possible. Unlike my other Transformers art, I made sure this one doesn't have dents, dings, battle scars, scratches, cracks, etc. I kept her face without any crosshatching patters at first, but it just looked plain. Initially I sketched part of her chest but left that out afterwards. I didnt want to give her that bulky head like how she appeared in the 1986 movie, kinda like that lady from Star Wars, the headpiece was just huge. Her head size appearance had to be nearly similar as a real woman.

However I have to say, and this is getting old, that since the upgrade pics posted are getting halved.

Now sometimes you can click the image and see the whole thing, but in this case I can't.

To the artist, I very much like what I can see, but to the forum, thank you for giving us a free place to express ourselves, but please hurry up on these friggin bugs!

Though as a fellow Reventon, I'm exceptionally partial to Red Alert. He looks great!

I find that right-clicking and choosing "Open image" (or your browser's equivalent) usually works, but I agree it is annoying.

As for the pics, great, great stuff. I like Red Alert better than the Twins, so I'm glad you picked him. And I like your tweaking of Arcee (although admittedly I think her nose needs to be a little longer proportion-wise).

I really love Red Alert. You have some serious talent. I hope you get the twins up soon; they are among my favorites.
