Buying upgrade kits through Renderform may be a thing of the past one the Hubcap/Bumper kits are all sent out according to a recent update from Venksta:

Thats probably what a lot of people are thinking, as I've been quiet on here. Things are busy with getting the Hubcap and Bumper kits made and out the door. Also, I am very back logged on emails right now, and will do my best to get through them quickly. Also, if you have emailed me for a order that has shipped, and not arrived, rest assured, I will make sure to get to it.

Regular orders for the two new kits are being made and shipped out now. I don't expect to finish until sometime in mid to late September. Orders are now closed for these two kits. If you missed out, there will be another chance to order them through a couple of online retailers, in limited numbers.

Also, due to the growth in customers and orders, the Hub Scout and Bump Scout kits will most likely be the final kits offered directly for sale through Renderform.com. Future kits will now be offered through select online retailers. Low run products will be considered for sale through Renderform.com, like weapons, unless demand is very high.

Good news as I can see Venksta's workload going way down, but I do fear for product markups.

I think he wants to spend more time making the kits and less time going through invoices and mailing out orders. Maybe it will work out better for everyone. I hope he cuts a deal with BBTS. I prefer the pile of loot feature. I also prefer paying a little more so that my card can be charged when the item is in stock, instead of tying up my money on pre-orders for months.

I've heard good things about his stuff. I'd prefer an online retailer, hopefully BBTS.

This is probably very good news.

I like his stuff, but find his site annoying to use.

Also, it should free up his time to make more stuff and offload the customer service portion of the job.
