After my 5th or 6th trip around to the stores looking for anything more recent than Scourge and Kup, I just got so angry with Hasbro, the stores, and the whole situation that I was just about feeling like saying f*** it to the whole thing and give up entirely.

I did manage to snag a g2 OP at Hasbro Toy Store, but damn at the shipping price. This is one reason I don't buy online, but when it's either that or see store after store week after week with absolutely no restocking being done other than at one point Rodimus/Cyclonus 2pks and DOTM Preview Prime showed up, but otherwise those exact same damn HFTD's I don't want, never wanted, never will want hanging from the shelves mocking me.

HTS was out of Wreck Gar and Perceptor, so looks like I'll never get those. And now I guess Windcharger gets added to the "forget it, never gonna happen" list. I don't even want to think about Thundercraker and Wheeljack.

It wouldn't be so bad, if I didn't know that in just about a month or so, the shelves will be filled with stuff for DOTM, which I don't care about. I know, it'll sell, and it'll make them money and yadda yadda business blah blah, but I have just about had it with this whole situation.

Wow. How much more can life suck for a TF collector right now? News flash. The stuff doesn't sell because nobody has it. I want it at least at HTS but what happens there is the scalpers all buy those up too to gauge those who don't like to order from online sites. I myself had an issue with HTS double billing me but I would gladly go thru that again to get a Windcharger.

If this is true, I certainly have no good words for Hasbro at this moment. Importing should be a choice, not a necessity. this certainly makes me respect them less.

The only things I see are the stupid tuner mudflaps and a ton of ravages, not to mention the chromia repaints. I only found one skull grin but dont have my financial situation in check yet, so thats down the drain.

It's not like I'd be able to get Rumble anyway, given how slow my stores are. I have a feeling the figures will still be released sometime, though. Hasbro wouldn't go to the trouble of making several new molds and then not release them. At least if they get released in the movie line, they might be a little easier to find. I really hope this isn't true, though.

This simply is not true. This figure was only available on HTS for 20 minutes with a limit of one per order. That said, how would a scalper know it was only going to be available for 20 minutes making the figure at $16 a piece (after shipping) still a highly profitable venture? Second, even if the scalper was that intuitive, HTS cancels multiple purchases of the same figure even when they're ordered separately...so these hypothetical scalpers would have to have had multiple HTS accounts, each going to a different address, each paid with a different credit card, all hoarded in 20 minutes time. In other words, HIGHLY unlikley scalping was the issue here.

This is Energon Ultra Magnus all over again... stateside we aint got none and they shelfwarmed all over in the UK... anyone wanna send a windcharger and rumble to ohio... let me know!

i just hope the line continues during the dotm line because then why does hasbro make new figures right before the release of the 3rd movie and highly anticapated new figures. so to me the other toy lines will comtinue with the dotm toys.

Just to clarify, W'charger is NOT shelfwarming here in the UK, he is only two per case of twelve and had been scalped hard, mostly by UK fans trying to hook up or trade with US ones and that was *before* the cancellation announcement.....

You know, you're not the first person on this site to have visited 4chan and ED.

I have a hard time beliveing that we won't see these figures molds somewhere down the line. I can't see them never hitting stores, just my have to wati until the bulk of DotM is out around the end of the summer.

Not directed at anybody in particular but that cartoon is quite adding "insult" to injury.

Though technically speaking, well that's what we all feel deep down. Hopefully Windcharger will be issued sooner or later or even by Tomy/Takara

Interesting (to me at least), nobody seems to bemoan the potential loss of Chopsaw or Downshift, just goes to show how popular the classicsverse has been with collectors over the "mainstream" lines.

To get responses like this, yeah it was meant as a jab.

The pix clearly had "seibertron" in it, it was a jab, not just my statement but other members and staff's complaints to me.

If a moderator/administrator has to step in and hand out warnings/bans or other disciplines adhere to their wishes. Do not treat the warning as grounds for a personal vendetta. i got one for Naked Magnus from my local Asda (owned by wall*mart)
to confirm it is shortpacked as plenty of chopshaw and downshift which i believe is in the same case assortment.
I will be keeping my eyes out for him, so if a see one will post back here
