I'll be surprised if SS ROTB Optimus will merely be a retool.
From the truck alone, I expect this Optimus to be a pretty meaty boy. So, a brand new mold.

There is no SS ROTB Optimus. There will be a voyager ROTB Optimus released exclusively in the Buzzworthy line though. And it being that line, and a Voyager, I am not expecting a new mold

It strikes me as more of a powered up super robot mode kind of thing, like a Power Rangers Battlizer form or some anime power up.Overcracker wrote:Dr. Caelus wrote:"Beast Mode" Bumblebee may set a new low bar in the realm of triple changers.
Not sure I'd call a wing pack and a bird head poking through his chest a third mode.

The phrase "Beast Mode" will probably be used in the movie, so its use here is likely just for marketing purposes and brand recognizability.Overcracker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It strikes me as more of a powered up super robot mode kind of thing, like a Power Rangers Battlizer form or some anime power up.Overcracker wrote:Dr. Caelus wrote:"Beast Mode" Bumblebee may set a new low bar in the realm of triple changers.

I agree. Bird Power Bumblebee would be a more appropriate name.
I'd expect a Beast Mode Bumblebee, to actually transform into some kind of beast..
