Well heres a dump of the progress so far

They look good. Looking forward to your next WIP update

Will be sorting out a update soon on the figures as i progess gotta start cutting parts for the combined mode. will start on that soon and get the helmet sorted for him

Are you really gonna make a combiner out of them?

Thats the plan on this one as i gotta make the leg guards first and then make them so they sit on top in car mode

getting a rough idea done on the parts before making this this is the top chest plate

But one of them is an airplane.

NO, there are 3 cars, thats it. They are Blacker, Laster and Braver, autobot brainmasters, and they combine to form Road Ceaser.

NO, there are 3 cars, thats it. They are Blacker, Laster and Braver, autobot brainmasters, and they combine to form Road Ceaser.

i am glad somebody cleared that up as the figures were released in two versions one japanese and the other european makes you wonder if the us ever had these guys released in the past on their tuff. starting the head and chest areas at the moment

yeah, that always buggs me about road ceaser, but having said that, the original toys managed to pull it off!

I had saved up some money to purchase the original toy at Botcon 97. When I finally had the thing in my hands I was really disappointed in the design. I had only seen a few pictures of the figures so I wasn't as familiar with him as I thought I was. I ended up getting a bunch of random figures instead. I don't know how you're going to pull this off man, but best of luck to you!

where theres a well theres a way i always say. If we can have Old friends RIP TFmaster make great pieces like Menasor and others working on bits i dont see the reason that this is not possible.

The toy wasn't Botcon specific, it was just the regular Japanese figure that one of the dealers was selling that year.

It's ok. I haven't seen this character until you started this thread. Will be good to see some variety of toy designs.

So where did the head, chest plate, leg cast, and feet come from?

The Japanese TF looks very much like Voltes V style. They really like sword fighting, and slashing each other.
