That's right, the Robotech Veritech fighters vs the Mobile suits from Gundam series *not the gundams themselves, because, we all know Wing Zero would whoop em* but the mobile suits that they are fighting.

Well, Mobile Suits are bigger, a typically mobile suit being about 60 feet, while a Valkyrie is only about 36 feet. Likewise, there's more than a few MSs that can take a Gundam down.
And while I don't claim to know the full powers of Macross Tech, I'd have to say Mobile Suits win. Unless they've made Valkyries that can one-shot battleships, or are immune to beam weapons, or can hit multiple enemies at once.
