Too pricy. I wish they were deluxes at about the $50 range. Then I could afford it.

I would bite on this but man..That's a steep price, especially for not even having a finished product photo to show for it. Considering how long it may take for this set to come out the price may scare alot of people away. It's a HUGE investment to take on faith that they will deliver...

I don't think that's a finished product. At least I hope it isn't. If the promotional artwork is anything to go by then there's some paint apps missing me thinks. Looks a little cheap otherwise.

Yeah, it still says prototype, but at least it's not all black and shows a better indication of colouration. I know some people were complaining in previous shots where the body was shown in different shades of green (probably as tests) and the backhoe section was all black. I still wish these were more in the range of $50-60 a pop, but with everything I've seen so far I'm glad I preordered one already.

I ordered both of these from RK and canceled from BBTS. I saved about $20 off of the BBTS price, and that is BEFORE figuring in any shipping.

I agree with Kibble, RK has been stealing quite a bit of my business away from BBTS lately. I got all of my United stuff through them instead of BBTS because it saved me significant $$$. POL is great and all, but that cost savings is appreciated.

I placed an order because I am afraid it will be bad ass and I will not be able to get it at this price again. Same went for Fansproject Bruticus. I bought it over a year ago and haven't got around to playing with it yet, but I am still glad I got it because the price now is frick'n ridiculous and it is indeed bad ass.

Hopefully they will space them out every two months or so to make them more affordable.

Allow me to clarify, it saved me money. I chose EMS shipping on my RK order and it came to $109.00. BBTS's price is $98.00, but usig the POL the shipping will be distributed among multiple figures ultimatley saving me a little.

Not to mention if said figure shows up missing a part or broken it will be taken care of with a couple e-mails and resolved in a week, that's the real draw for me.

Word, on all counts. I'm still kicking myself for not getting FP Warbot…

Now I get everything I can, finances willing, and if it turns out I'm not into it afterwards I can usually at least break even on eBay.

Ordering the third-party Constructicons from Robot Kingdom feels like receiving a discount on the price to me. The total cost in my order for Scavenger is about $98 with registered Air Mail; that total price more or less equals the subtotal one would get if the figure was ordered from TFsource or BBTS. So since shipping for me usually costs about $20 anywhere, I am saving approx. $120 if I rely on Robot Kingdom to sell the whole set to me in the long run.
Robot Kingdom is reliable. I've always received my orders quickly. The Registered Air Mail includes tracking and only takes 1 week to arrive.
