TF Wiki claimed that the 3rd cycle (purple bike) bot name is Flare Up. See link:

Hm, the bikes would have been better off being named Arcee (pink) Chromia (Blue) alright... well so far that's actually how it is.... but the red one should have been named Firestar. Much better than Flareup.

If they make a female movie Decepticon, first off it should N OT be another effing spider. Second, the names they should use are Strika, Flamewar, or Shadow Striker. Those are all very good female decepticon names so far. Yet they keep rehashing spider forms and the name Blackarachnia. If they're going to give us a spider-bot in one of the movies it had better be Tarantulas. :PRED:

I could care less about the name I just want the damn toy lol! But Moonracer would have been a way nicer name. Looks like Hasbro scrapped the combination, what a shame.

You know, this whole Arcee thing was handled so wrong in the movie. I'll never understand the whole Arcee sisters thing. I would have understood it if they all combined into Arcee. But since they didn't, the naming system for these characters just turned out strange and awkward.

HASBRO can't use that name due to trademark reasons. I think Marvel comics is still using the name.

But I knew her name was going to be either Firestar or Flare Up. I've been telling my friends about after the movie premiered.

The names "Moonracer" and "Firestar" are impossible to use due to trademark reasons.

Like everyone else I would've preferred a name like "Firestar" but they lost the name due to trademark reasons and thus Firestar was replaced with Fireup. In that case I don't mine.

@Mechastrike: Hey you mentioned that you knew in advance that the name "Flare Up" was going to be that purple Arcee bike. When did you first hear of the name? Did one of the writers decide to just come up with any name post-movie release after seeing me posting in the Seibertron.com forums? I'm really annoyed by this. If they did take the idea from me, I wish they would have at least kept the name: "Flare" and not make it sound repulsive. #-o
