I know this topic has probably been discussed.But,modifying my rotf Skids and Mudflap,I have noticed that both of them have the same "connection" section. Their crotch sections,on both of them, are exactly the same.And,on both, the front section of the crotch can unsnap and fold down,leaving the gray area with a sort of curve on it,which also are the same shape on both of them.Kind of like opening a piece of a puzzle and both pieces can fit into each other perfectly.I have been very interested in these two combining,in toy form.I love combining transformers,and was just wondering if anyone has noticed this,or if anyone can give me any info or ideas.I have seen someone else's idea on how to combine the two,but it just doesn't seem practical.Thanks.

I agree, joining them at the groin doesn't seem practical! I have no idea what you're talking about so I shall have to go have a look, if you're talking about the deluxes.

This sounds very PG-17 to me.

Having examined them I don't know why they're there. I don't think they're intended for use cos Mudflap's groin won't go back - the pegs and slots don't align and I will have to take some screws out to put his groin plate back!

There was this rumour kicking about that they might combine and looking at them and the concept art on the DVD this might have been true at one point.
I mean there they are each having one huge arm and their original alt-mode was a combination of sorts, plus if you look at the DVD concepts there was supposed to be a TF that turned into a Smart car and his bot-mode looked like a huge chest on tiny legs, and these three bots are almost always shown to be together.

Maybe that "connector" piece is just a left over from that original design and nobody really cared to get rid of it or forgot to do so like with universe Galvatron.
