Not too impressed with Bumblebee.

I like that they kept the legs.
I like the shoulder cannons now that I can see more of them.
I like the arms (finally, movie accurate.)
I cannot stand the head, at all. (Looks terribly cartoonish and weird.)
I can't tell if the chest panels separate or not. (Doesn't look like they do, but I might be wrong on that.)

One thing I would like to know...why can't anyone transform these figures before taking the pictures? Seriously. It's not that difficult to figure out that if there's a panel or limb that can move... it should be moved.

Those are some surprisingly significant differences on BB, I'll probably get it now.

Think ill get Bumblebee (is it just me or does he look possessed) but im probably going to pass on Smokescreen. I love the mold and the colors are awesome but ive got 2 already. But then again a lot of the figures suck so ill have some extra cash sitting around and i do like the figure. Ill just have to wait and see.

For me, Smokescreen is a must; like the colors, loved the mold. As for BB, I was gonna pass on him, but the changes done to the figure are more than I expected, looks really good.

They've gone for better screen accuracy but screwed up the chest - the side panels don't move. The arms look good but I hate it when they put the palms facing the same way as the elbow. Limits poseability too much. The doors/wings sit in a better place but I still think I prefer the 08 version.

I believe he's mistransformed in those pictures. We won't know until he's released, however.

If he does have a full transformation, then I will buy him for the body, and swap heads with my '07 Bumblebee.

And that'll make me a happy camper.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves as well. As for Bee he looks pretty good, not sure if this is better than the preview version. It might be.

BB looks like Megatron dragged him to the taxidermist. This eyes are... um, not good.

And I just don't like Smokescreen. This is one repaint I think should have stuck closer to the G1 scheme, as the 07 G1 Jazz repaint did. Not a fan of that grey/blue color.

I kind of like the new Bumblebee, but I hope the sides of the front clip/headlight section move like the previous movie version. Also, the front of the car may need to point down more. Overall, I like it though. As far as Smokescreen goes, I don't really like it. I didn't like the mold when it came out and I don't like it much now. It just isn't my thing, I guess.

The chest looks like one solid piece, so it might not split like it should.

I am thinking so too. If it is solid, I don't know if it is worth my money. I am hoping, but we'll see. :-(

So did this prototype not come with the hand cannon or did the guy taking the pictures forget about it.

This shoulder cannons look like they should swivel out. They would look better that way.
