Amazon.com has updated its listing for the Transformers 2 soundtrack with an exact list of the songs and the artists, at a pretty good sale price to boot!

Hmm. Green Day, The Fray, Cheap Trick and Nickelback... I think this definitely sounds better than the first movie's soundtrack already. I just might actually get this one. I guess I should abandon hope of ever seeing Boston's "Cool the Engines" or Kansas' "Black Fathom 4" in an official Transformers soundtrack. ;p

I would have loved to see "Citizen Soldier" by 3 Doors Down on there. It kinda applies to the Autobots, even if they're not "citizens."

I wish there would be a better cover of The Theme song in there somewhere....Mutemath was just terrible.

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but to me it just smacked of propaganda. The lyrics were flat and dull and you could just tell it was commissioned by the army for its recruitment videos.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. I like it. The national guard does use it for recruiting, actually.

Cheap trick is doing a cover of it, I think it's listed. And there was a thread here with a link to the song. They did pretty good, a hell of a lot better than Mutemath. i hated that version too.
