You don't like Megatron? Alright. I'll give you that one.
You don't like Jetfire? Altight. I disagree, but that's your right.
You don't pass on Optimus. He really is THE figure that defines what a TransFormer is. People can tell you that we have the Masterpiece line, etc etc, but he really is the figure we've been waiting for for 25 years.
We wanted one that's super detailed? We got him.
We wanted one that's accuracy is as close as possible? We got him.
We wanted one with a complex but satisfying transformation? We got it.
We wanted one that everyone could agree one? (Most everyone does.)
We wanted the voice of Peter Cullen? We got it.
Leader Class Optimus Prime is not only a figure, but a work of art. He's the figure that makes you break your own rules and spend that extra money. He's the figure that IS worth $45.00 and without buyer's remorse.
If the Voyager floats your boat, great. Here's the problem, he's not at all even close to being in the same zip code of awesome that the Leader Class is in. He never will be. That's not a matter of opinion, that's a FACT. The two figures don't even compare, there's a world of difference between them.
You are wasting a chance to get the definitive figure, over a few bucks? Seriously? Time to quit pinching the wallet 'til it bleeds. Time to go out there and buy Optimus.
You keep hearing people mention how incredible Bludgeon is? (They're right btw) Optimus makes him look like a Go-Bot!
Just once, you need to let go of these silly notions and "rules" and enjoy your collecting experience.
Leader Class Optimus is worth all of that. Do not miss the chance to get him, you will regret it.
Leader-class Prime is not as good as MP Prime. No. Way. MP's transformation is infinitely more satisfying, not nearly as frustrating either. I have transformed ROTF Prime once. it took me an hour with instructions and I felt like chucking the damned thing out the window several times.

MP Prime took a bit the first few times. I can now do it on a whim, in about five-ten minutes. MP Prime is also more posable, with weapons that don't impede articulation. Also, better quality of materials and an electronic gimmick that doesn't activate if you breathe on him.
Leader-class Prime is good... but MP Prime is quite possibly the best TF toy of all time.
