P.S. If you swap his head-braces and rotate his head upside-down the whole setup sits better underneath his arms.

Wasnt going to get either megs but this looks better and better. I dont like the leader at all his tank mode is just to off.

The movie and this new mode made the decision for me. I think the color is a little odd but gives me an excuse to call him Galvatron too :-P

I will probably end up repainting him either purple or silver before the year is out :lol:

Ehhh.. I was collecting Megatron and Prime figures for a while, so I mind as get this one and Leader Prime. Not Bothering with Voyager Prime.

I am glad someone found this mode. Makes him worth the 20 something dollars now..

I just wish he wasn't green (maybe Hasbro went for the "little green martian appeal"). He's another figure I'm riding the fence on, said originally I wasn't going to get but maybe . . .

why couldn't they make the LC Megs like this? For nearly $50 -yeah I want a triple changer!! I was thinkin about getting LC Megs once he goes on clearance, but maybe I'll wait. I dunno.

I just picked this up tonight, and I must say, I'm impressed. I was disappointed by leader Megatron, i didn't buy him. I bought both Voyager and Leader Prime and this looks good next to leader Prime. Too bad he's smaller. This color scheme and mold should have been the Leader class Megatron. Now...to figure out the jet mode...

WOW, this is really kool, im sold that voyager Megs has 3 modes now, all he needs is a metallica paint job along with a black with red paint app for the Fallen and a G1 repaint of Soundwave and we got ourselves a awesome Gathering at the Nemsis!!

Ok, where in the movie are we clearly shown they are on the Nemesis?? Looked to me like they were just on cybertron. Why did all this ship talk come about??

In the novelization, it clearly states they're on the Nemesis, and in the scenes after Megatron is resurrected and he flies back up to Saturn's moon, you can see the tail of the crashed ship. It's mostly dark and shadows but it looks like the G1 ship.

I already went ahead and bought the Leader Megs, as I really liked leader Prime's new mold, and thought it somewhat criminal to go with the Megs that was smaller than Prime, but, especially with this 3rd mode, I really wish they'd used a scaled-up version of the Voyager with a film-accurate paint job for the leader class fig. Even if that meant sacrificing the electronics, it wouldn't bother me much, since they didn't bother to try to get Welker OR Weaving's voice for the fig while Prime had Cullen's Voice.

well they need to make that more clear, I would've really liked that a nod to G1. Thx man

Yeah, no prob. They should have had Starscream say "Welcome back to your Nemesis" or something when Megatron returned.

Well, after looking at Frenzy/Rumble's custom and Josh Nizzi's concept art I spent the extra $22 and picked up ROTF Leader Megatron today. The size makes him more menacing especially with the light & sound gimmicks.

The cannon arm is just wild. It looks like Hasbro re-used the flipout gun from Movie Leader Meg's left arm to make the pivot for the knife/forearm shield. I might have to paint the red rectangle that is the button for the missile, just looks out of place since there isn't any red on the figure. Now I understand why the Doctor (Scalpel) bio translates to "mad scientist" cause Meg's ain't a work of art. Just glad this ones not green, color schemes very fitting.

Leader doesn't have wings so I doubt it. After seeing the film I'm more interested in the voyager than the leader!
