It's a shame but very cost effective that the new legends figure is the best.

Well first of all i was looking at these pictures and I thought it was galvatron because of the new head and body.
Then i realised what his colours were ,the same as the fallen.
So obviously this is something to do with megatron and the fallen .Maybe the fallen gives his powere to megatron or maybe i'm wrong and something else happens.
OR have they kept this quiet and they are introducing unicron which means he could reformat megatron.

Megs looks better than the funky jet that we saw in the first movie which had no real design. 1% megatron and 99% kibble.. This one looks like a Megatron winner (movie anyways).

I am sure we will get 3 repaints.

1) Messed up the the Abyss megatron with blue frost!
2) Reformatted by the all-spark fragment Megatron
3) Premium "we'll just re-paint it so these suckers can buy it" Megatron

My wallet cant wait!!!

Well I seem to be in the minority here but I like Leader Megatron better...Tank mode especially looks cooler than this one...

I don't know what all the fuss over him being blue is though...I mean yeah, it's ugly but the FIRST Voyager Megatron was the same awful blue colour as well...I guess it's just a rule of thumb that the Voyager Megatrons caren't allowed to be a reasonable colour...

I like it too! Cool design, and cool color. I didn't buy any Megatrons from the first movie, so this might be my one and only Movie Megatron purchase.

Indeed. If Prime and Jetfire combine, why WOULDN'T Megatron and the Fallen? You've got a good eye for detail

now this one is kool and alot better then the leader version

love the colours too, its nice to see megs something other then silver all the time

looks like a tripelchanger too, unless i missed something and now tanks can fly

but by far my favourite part is the new HEAD, that is awesome

Very good point. I suppose we'll have to wait until the packaging comes out to see if he does or not. The interesting thing here would seem to be that, if they do combine that would indicate we are going to get a leader-class Fallen to combine with the Leader Megs...but i don't remember any mention on the packing of that or of them combining. It would make sense though, especially if Jetfire is indeed one of the ancients.

people people please if ya look at it more carfuly youll realize its badly mistransformed and may very well be a triplechanger or something better...Cybertron megatron from before the war before the jet im talking transition mode, or it could be what megatron evolves into after the gad-awful new movie mode thanks to allspark powers in response to jetprime

The tank mode is not mistransformed, as others have previously posted. If you go back and look at the CG pics of Megatron's cybertron tank mode released a long while ago, you'll see that this voyager class toy is pretty much spot on.

Treads in the CG are not lined up
Tank turret is flush with the "jet like" top plates of the tank.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

I have to say though, this is the first Movie Megatron I'd almost buy...if it wasn't green.

Why is it so hard for them to make a properly-colored Megatron? #-o

I like the claw arm on this guy but that's it I guess. I'm definitely going to partake in the leader class rendition of this mighty Megs incarnation. But I can easily pass on this Movie Megabolt. I'll just use that money to find an original Megabolt for my Megs collection. :-P

I actually don't mind this at all. Looking at the design and colour aesthetics it seems to me as if Megatron has taken The Fallen's power (as opposed to being combined with him as others have postulated). Or maybe it's through The Fallen that Megatron is revived...?

One question, what are the different size scales in the TF toys fom smallest to largest? Isn't Leader class bigger than Voyager? I always get confused on this point...
