The Energon Pub

So this is my first crack at painting/modding a Transformer. Only things I've modded and painted until now have been my Gundams. Tell me what you think! (pictures taken with my google phone, so quality/color/lighting isn't great except in the last picture)

Repainted him from the weird green color to Meg's usual silver and gold. Base coated the whole thing with flat black then dry brushed on Testors enamel: Steel color and gold highlights. Repainted the energy blast blue.
I also removed his "toes" and just left him with his tank tread toes and I added some putty to the claw tips and resculpted them to be sharper and more movie accurate.

Made the tip of the claw/blade to be more like the movie and his CGI.



I wish I was skilled enough to put LEDs in... this shot would look awesome with glowing red eyes.



Blue energy blast = way better than clear reddish/pinkish thing it came with.


I'll post alternate mode images when the paint is fully cured and stops rubbing off at every
edge every time I touch it with my sweaty hands (didn't sand the figure down at all, too lazy).

I actually like this without LEDs. The black/dark look in Meg's eyes makes him look creepier.
