- The chrome knobs are truly awesome. Unfortunately, they can't be removed from the toy without breaking the plastic or doing some heavy customization. In short, these can't be used on the United toy. Sorry gang.
- Watch out for a spot that could create a stress mark. On the front of the legs, there's a piece that swings out and pops onto a tab. Don't push the kibble in all way, or it will create a hidden stress mark on the tab. I was able to push the leg kibble onto the tab halfway after that. This will do the trick.
- Another point about tabs, the backpack-hood has trouble staying put. It requires some fiddling. This is really the only complaint I have with the toy's design.
- As for the sniper rifle, that doesn't pop off either. Although, it looks like Perceptor can wield some weapons with his hands, but I haven't tested that feature yet.
- His transformation isn't as smooth as Jazz or even Tracks, but I don' think it's as bad as Galvatron. Getting him back to vehicle mode and have him role... well, I'm still working on that one. Maybe someone else will have more success with him.
All in all, Perceptor's great. Don't pass him up because he's not a microscope anymore. Perceptor's bot mode is great representation of the character we all know and love.
