RTS wheeljack sure is a shortround!
hes as tall, minus his "wings", as classics deluxe Bumblebee! not that its a bad thing to me I just thought he would be taller. his chunky legs are my favorite

It helps differentiate him from Tracks. And he always was a little chunky. Not quite Trailbreaker level, but pretty chunky...

Re: RTS wheeljack sure is a shortround!
the retools in the legs alone would have been enough. now if they would have made his arms longer too I would have to say they took it too far.
mine is a hell of a lot more stable than my Tracks, I was a little worried he wouldnt be. Overall a great little figure even though he resembles a tree stump

How funny you mention a Transformers; Cybertron Decepticon in your title (Shortround).
I guess he is alright.

Has anyone tried putting another gun perhaps some one else's in Wheeljack's grip while keeping the other mounted on his shoulder? I haven't done so yet but I plan to do some testing soon. I wonder if his G1 gun would fit like Perceptor's did?

I think his stumpiness suits him as do his chunky legs. His use of the mold has come out better than Tracks in my opinion.

Thanks! How silly of me not to think of checking the gallery! So what have they done to make him so short?

It's all in the front of the car. The underside covers more than the top when fully extended on Tracks, so it's an aesthetic necessity.

I really don't think it detracts that much from the toy overall. Actually I'd always thought that G1 Wheeljack had quite stumpy legs anyway, so I guess it's kind of fitting.

Ah, thanks.
The G1 toy is stumpy cos proportions are way off on most G1 toys, look at Skullcruncher's short arms. In the cartoon he's the same height as the other cars isn't he? Not counting BB.
