Fans looking to complete the Dark Of The Moon main cast of characters will be happy to know this latest insight given to us by our anonymous sources overseas. Hasbro will be releasing toys for the duo of newest Autobot soldiers.

Sources claim the upcoming figures will be

Deluxe Class Mirage
Deluxe Class Wheeljack

Contrary to their on-screen names, our sources claim that the packaging of the figures will label the Red Ferrari as Mirage, rather than Dino, while the Blue Mercedes will be called Wheeljack, not Que. The release date of the two has been stated to be in early 2012.

Nothing is officially confirmed yet, so let us wait patiently for a word from our sponsors, or perhaps their unveiling at this week's San Diego Comic Con.

Finally! SOmething new. Case assortment will probably be like this:

1x Deluxe Mirage
1x Deluxe Wheeljack
2x My Little Pony Starscream
4x (Insert Random) Bumblebee

Incidentally, my guess is that WHeeljack is Que's official name. I'd wager his nickname is "Q", as in "Quartermaster", in a similar way to James Bond's "Q" character. It was probably his responsibility to equip the bots for battle. I also have a theory about his face: I think that, in his infinite wisdom and in the true spirit of Wheeljack, he probably blew his own facial armor off with assorted inventions that didn't work. How this will translate to the toy is going to be very interesting.

Total LMAO moment...and a bit sad, because it's probably true. We need another Bumblebee figure/repaint/retool like we need another hole in the head. Now if it were repurposed as Cliffjumper, like 2007 Movie 'Bee was, I'd totally be behind that. Or even (complete longshot) movieverse Glyph

, fembots who were both repaints/retools of various 'Bee incarnations. The movieverse needs more fembots than just Arcee and Chromia repaints. Of the three biker chicks, only Elita-1's CGI model looked kind of badass, and it's not one we got. Tangent over.

this will be the one time i do not want a wheeljack and it is all because of his face having strikingly close ressemblance to a bald-headed human w/ glasses. sorry but i like my robots not looking human like.

and even though ferraris look better in red than blue i am still going to repaint him blue for G1's sake

Already been confirmed for both Deluxe and Human Alliance. I think Cyberverse as well, but unsure of that.

The one thing that REALLY irked me about Q / Wheeljack in the movie was how he died - begging for his life like a coward. Yes, I know the movie version was JUST a scientist, but JEEZ!

That being said, I'll probably still get the figure.

i want Mirage, but early 2012 release i hope that changes. PErsonally, i want feeling Wheeljack head design in the movie, so unless the toy makes me like it, i'm gonna pass on him

Even if these are "early 2012" releases, they'll most likely be shipped before the end of the year to be on shelves for the all important Holiday season.

Or at least I hope. :-(

Doesn't make sense that all the main movie characters aren't on the shelves now. I still want a Leadfoot, too... :-(

I am a bit surprised they're waiting so long to release them. I figured at most they'd wait til the fall when the movie comes out on video. Oh well- I really hope they change their plans and give us a bigger version of Mirage- he was SWEET. Q/Wheeljack is so-so. As my favorite G-1 character I thought it was cool just to see him in a live-action movie though I would have preferred he look at least somewhat similar to his G1 self. Anyways by calling him Q they have effectively given themselves a chance to properly place Wheeljack in future films without having to explain anything. Same thing with Mirage.

They're not really significant.Dino killed Hatchet,one of the dreads while Q is the one who created the bomb that killed Starscream and some drone.Oh and he died execution style by Barricade and Soundwave.

YEAH !!! Finally I can create my full DOTM Autobot team~ I dunno,I'm kinda glad that we be getting them that late cause that just give me time to recover from the DOTM haul that I got from the previous 2 months xP. 6 Deluxe,4 Commanders and 2 Voyagers is definitely a huge damage to my wallet >.<...

I wouldent mind a painted DOTM delux bumblebee, with 2 hands, a flip-out cannon, battle mask, and shoulder cannon. :lol:

Blue Mercedes Wheeljack? But what about White Mercedez Soundwave? There ARE Decepticons in this film too. At Walmart, there are multiple Primes, Sideswipes, a gazillion versions of Bumble Bee and now more Autobots? Don't the Decepticons in this film outnumber the Autobots quite a bit?
