I dont think so though. Since the actual movie transformation depicts that the trailer is actually a part of him so I dont think Hasbro will screw that up. The CV probably get the short tanker cause Hasbro wants to make his trailer/tanker transforms into a base/armor just like CV's optimus does so that the two matches. And plus if CV got the trailer becoming part of his bot mode syndrome just like Voyager version...His truck mode will be hella small >.>...

no word on leader megs or shockwave, they also didn't show deluxe Mirage/Dino ....HOWEVER when someone asked about Dino they said they have good plans for spring 2012 that they dont want to show....

Is there a more specific time frame than "early 2012" we can go by for the Leader Class 'Cons? Like maybe a specific month?

Spring 2012 is what they specified. That's March/April/May. We do seem to get filler lines just before the next big thing comes along, so that sounds like a reasonable time frame for new figures, especially Leaders, because at that point they can do a HFTD subline kinda thing.

However, we all know that their dates are wonky. Spring, will most likely be late to middle February, for Hasbro.

As we get closer to Christmas and see new cross sells, plus BBTS will receive their order manifests, so we'll know long before they're due to hit shelves.

Well, No luck at SDCC, but I am sure these two are coming out. I believe the source is trustworthy, and I think Hasbro will do what they did with Starscream, putting them in sub-line in 2012

Not to mention, with more time, they can really make these figures great, unlike early releases such as Leader class ROTF Megatron and Butterfly prime, compared to leader starscream and Takara Jetwing Prime...well there is no comparison. In regards to Mirage, they won't get the label, so with more time, they can make a good version of him, instead of something like sideways who was a real miss.

All I know is that I was impressed with the Hasbro panel at SDCC. Alot better than this year. I will be scanning BBTS for pre-orders for the Prime stuff! Which should be in a couple weeks.

And how is LC Megatron gonna pull off his new alt mode? I mean he is a semi-truck with tanker trailer and the voyager class does incorporate the truck and trailer during transformation, but im wondering about the Leader Class version???

Still would like to have a LC Blackout though or a Leader Class Soundwave.

I posted something about this earlier- why not do Ultimate versions of Shockwave and Megatron similar to Ultimate Optimus? Make the actual bot itself on that scale. For Shockwave you could have him come with the Driller. Shockwave himself would transform into the cockpit/drill bit portion of the Driller which would then snap into the rest of it. Maybe even make a cockpit in scale with Cyberverse Shockwave.

Megatron would be a little more difficult. I'd say do it the same way Optimus was done with his bot transforming into the cab and his trailer transform into some kind of weapon, maybe his fusion cannon and even make up his cloak? Something like that.

Of course you'd have to use your imagination a little bit but I'd love to have a Shockwave and Megatron like this.

yeah i agree with ya. if they do happen to make them i would be shocked.

This is what I want from this Leader Megatron: want him to have his shotgun/ Fusion Cannon weapon. In his right arm, there should be a port. On the gun, the handle should fold up against the barrel of the gun and the handle have a post. The gun will connect to the arm and stay rather well. When the gun connects, it should go past the hand a little bit. I mind would explode if Hasbro did that. Too bad that it might not happen.

Not holding my breath, but I still have faint hope that maybe at least a Megatron will be released, perhaps at the final piece of the line. I can do without Shockwave, his character doesn't warrant a leader figure anyway.
