I have been hawking the site since about 8PM last night and couldn't see anything til noon today CST.

Yeah, I was on them since last night. My worry was that the site would go live at midnight Eastern on Aug 9. Sure enough, at about 11 CDT, Midnight Eastern, the figures showed up in the Exclusives section of HTS. I refreshed for about 45 minutes trying to add items to my cart, and kept an eye on Seibertron for news, afraid that everything had been sold out in the first couple of minutes. When nothing showed on Seibertron, I posted the link here and notified the news crew. (It's rare that I get a scoop.

) I kept refreshing until about 1:00 AM CDT, then had to go to bed so I could function at work the next day.

When I woke up this morning and checked, still couldn't add anything to my cart. President-prime mentioned checking every half hour overnight (thanks again for that, President-prime! ;)^

) so I was pretty sure the inventory hadn't yet been released.

Then, presto, at 10 AM CDT, 11 AM EDT, I was able to add the item to my cart. About a 5 minute nerve racking checkout later, I had my stuff ordered and posted here letting everyone know about the figures going live. I also sent a line to the News Crew again.

So, that's the story of the last 18 hours or so. I hope most people got what they were looking for. It appeared that Soundwave and the Star Wars figures all went the quickest, maybe inside an hour?

Yeah, I don't know that I want to go through that again.... Off to find a nap after work... I-)

And as of 4pm MST, both the Titan Force set and Fortress Maximus are still in stock/available to add to cart. A lot of worry about nothing.

Devastator and the Combiner Hunters took weeks to sell out for good last year. Might have been a couple months for Devastator, actually.

I'm genuinely surprised the Soundwave tablet was the thing to sell out. Smaller run I suppose?

Sorry for the late reply. Worked haha. It went live when I was driving to work. Had to pull over to order, haha. So confirmation and order page was available at 8:01 this morning pacific time. Got me fort max, Soundwave, and Titan force. My other retail fort max can be in city mode

Yup. Sdcc transformers are great to add to my collections. But I do want to get to work safely, hence the pull over. I'm super excited about this buy, since I'm tired of trying to get tickets to comicon. 3 straight years of not being able to get tickets. Can't wait to display them in my new mancave. Spent half a year building it:)

On a side note. Congrats to those who got one.

Not yet, but that's pretty normal. They always say the expected ship date is the same day you place your order, but it never is. Usually the next day. Sometimes 2 days later.

Well, that was bloody fast. I was a bit worried, as I had made a typo on my e-mail address, so I never got a confirmation e-mail from Hasbro. All I had was an e-mail from PayPal saying I'd authorized a payment to Hasbro. And it wasn't until yesterday that on my PayPal account it went from pending to processed. And today, a giant box appeared on my doorstep. And inside of it:

My new acquisition, along with a few friends.

I'm very impressed with how quickly it came. I didn't even choose a faster shipping option! And here it was, just two days after I placed the order.

Given that I was going to want a sword for him, and the only third party option for one was $35 by itself, I'm happy with the purchase. A few bucks extra for a figure with a better deco than the retail version... Yeah, I'll take it. ;)^

(Now I just need a Gasket and Grommet...)

I ordered the Micronauts set today with a Power Surge Sideswipe to pad out the order for free shipping. It didn't work because of the exclusive but the 25% off did.

Not sure where to post this - this thread makes as much sense as any...

Nobody seems to have reported this, but it's possible to mount Brainstorm's on his back so that the cannons point upwards, giving him his classic silhouette.

It uses molded details that look suspiciously like they were designed for the job and fits snugly enough to shake and even turn him upside down.

It fits about as closely as any other backpack.

Just extend the landing gear and post it through the hole in his back. The landing gear, instead of a wheel, has a hook on the end.

It fits snugly in a molded groove inside the cockpit.

It helps improve the look of this extremely impressive figure!
