Maybe one day a 3rd party company will bless us with all Movie constructicons in a reasonable scale with Leader OP.

At that size, the scale might be reasonable, but the price would be outrageous. Based on the scene with OP hanging off his neck, Demolisher would have to be nearly as large as Fort Max to be 'in scale'.

I don't really care anymore since it will never be something that is practical or reasonable for Hasbro/Takara to do. I am just happy to have the designs that are out there.

As for Leader class .... yeah,I'll assume that's for the movie line only. Blackout would make sense. So would the Fallen, but he's not so good. I think those are the only two really possible if we're talking about scale issues in the movie.

He he . . . I think I didn't express myself properly: a Supreme Class Demolisher would be in a good scale with Voyager OP and Deluxe Ironhide. Other "big" decepticons like Voyager Rampage, Leader Mixmaster, Leader Bonecrusher, Ultimate Lomg Haul and Ultimate Blackout could be made more-or-less in scale with Leader OP.
Regarding prices, keep in mind that low-end 3D-printers are forecast to be cheap enough to be acquired by households in about 5 years. In the same time frame, companies providing high-end professional 3D-printing services wont be unusual. That will make the price per unity of such low-volume/high-quality collection items (e.g. an ultimate Blackout) to drop considerably. Just wait and see ...

Beast Machines anyone?
Scale was also horrible in the Machine wars line. Granted, the line was all repaints of European stuff, but if it was a series the scale would be horrible. Starscream towers over everyone in the set. Regardless, it's one of my favorite sets that I own.

A lot of people like getting the best possible representations of characters. That includes them being in scale with the rest of the line.

Well, it's more than likely not gonna happen. The shows rarely bothered with scale. Same with the toys.

That is acceptable and understandable for animated shows, but now with the live action films the quality standards are much higher: the alternate modes are real and in scale, so they should at least try to manufacture the toys reflecting the new reality.

Considering their complexity, nope. And my 'quality standards' are good toys, regardless of scale.

A $50 Bumblebee will sell FAR, far better than a $50 Blackout.

He said Machine Wars, idiot.
Scale is not as lousy as you might think. In most series' the toys and the characters' size relative to each other in the fiction match up fine. The Movieverse toys on the other hand... Not so much. It's Beast Machines all over again.
Ultimate Blackout would be nice, but people would be more likely to get BB. They could fix some of the scale problems by making Movie figures at the Ultra price point.
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

First off, please avoid the name calling.
Also, I was referring to both. Skimming through my post would cause that mistake so I see why he thought I thought Starscream was in Beast Machines, but that's not the case.
scale still doesn't bother me. If it did, I wouldn't be a collector.
Beast Machines was a scale nightmare due to poor communication amongst all the Hasbro staff. A good portion of the figures were still really good though. Ultimate Cheetor needed to be scaled down, but he still stands as the most show accurate of the series next to Air Attack Optimus.
MAchine Wars however, was just a lone of repaints that were cool looking, but completely unrealistic in scale terms amongst the various robots.
Regardless, I like TF and I will buy TFs even if they are out of scale.

A Leader Class Bonecrusher would really do make me happy. I liked the Deluxe so much, I wouldn't even mind if it was just a scaled up version of that. I thought that design was pretty good.
