Now that I compare pictures of how my repainted version of Scattorshot looks next to the original toy I can see that a lick of paint has made a huge difference, especially in robot mode. I stuck with the original midnight blue colour scheme and added blue in places it didn't appear previously. As such a well-armed robot I decided he should look like he's seen some trouble so I gave him paint chips and mud spatters.

Wow. That's so much better than the original. I continue to be blown away by how much better the Movie toys look with a decent paint job. Gotta get my own pics up at some point...
